Wishing everyone a very Happy Holiday season.

We hope this time of year allows you to slow down, breathe deep, and spend meaningful moments with the ones you love—both two-legged and four-legged.

As we look ahead, we’re excited to share that big things are coming next year. We’ve recently relocated to a new barn, and as we settle in and find our rhythm, we’re embracing this new chapter with gratitude and excitement. We can’t wait to bring you along and share what’s ahead.

Just a story I heard.

BRUSH out your horse’s Fairy Reins. Don’t ever cut them out.

As the story goes, when a child dies, it makes all the angels in Heaven cry, and their tears make it too hard to see, to bring that child to Heaven.

So the fairies rush to help. But the fairies are so small, that they can’t make it all the way to Heaven on their own.

So they braid a rein into a horse’s mane and borrow the horse in the dark of night to get the child up to Heaven.

When you cut out a Fairy Rein, or roach a horse’s mane, they can’t borrow your horse.

If you ever came to the barn in Pauma Valley you got to meet Larry and Wesley. On 7/17/22 Julie, Chase and their family said good bye to Larry. We will miss you dearly. We know that you and Wesley are together playing and waiting until we meet again.

Today your stall is empty.
Today our barn is quiet.
Today our hearts are hurting.
Today our horses heads hang low.
Today our barn feels smaller.

Yesterday the mood was different.
Yesterday, yesterday you were offering hugs
Yesterday, yesterday, yesterday you were teaching us to be better ones.

Today I look back at the time I got to have you in my barn.
Today I shed hurt filled tears.
Today I want to go back .
Today I thank you for all that you taught me.
Today I hear the pain from others that you touched so dear.
Today I thank the universe for sending your mom and you to my barn.
Today I send my love and gratitude to you passed on.
Today I look back on how you weren’t just a horse but family to me.
Today I say thank you for being you.
Today I hear don’t cry beloved one I’m watching over my mom.
Today I hug your soul and whisper Thank you Rusty for the ride and making me a better one.
