A Dog in Motion We offer dog walking and dog training services for the greater Pasadena area, including Altadena, Arcadia, Monrovia, Duarte and El Monte.

A dog in motion stays in motion. Dogs are happier when their bodies and minds get exercised. We are here to help you with both. At A Dog in Motion we offer dog walking and a wide array of dog training services. Feel free to look around and discover how we can help you and your dog become a happy, healthy family unit. Our dog trainers use only gentle techniques that are based in science and have proven their efficacy time and time again. Positive reinforcement keeps your dog thinking and happy. It teaches them to make the right choices, because they want to. Dogs inherently like to please their owners. We channel that drive to help them learn how to achieve that goal.

Yesterday was Jinx’ 5th birthday! Sadly, I didn’t have the time to properly celebrate. This morning we did some training for tugs in the backyard and then went on a loooong walk with treats. Cause our little gooberest of goobers deserves a real celebration!

Class last night reminded me why I love teaching agility so much. 💕 Seeing everyone grow more confident (dogs and handlers), while having a great time together. Agility should always be about that, not ribbons and titles.

Jinx’ training has been coming along quite nicely since I’ve been more consistent. Imagine that. 🤣
