We were excited to welcome our friends from Asahi to our San Marcos facility on Friday!

Which Protein Fractionator is right for you?

All RK2 Protein Fractionators are available in both Standard and Pro Series models. Both share some features, such as our electronic HMI washdown controller, but here's a quick look at the key differences, shown below using our RK600 models:

✅ Schedule 40 plumbing for reliable everyday performance
✅ Your choice of Asahi or Hayward true union ball valves

Pro Series (pictured right 👉)
✅ Heavy-duty Schedule 80 plumbing for increased durability
✅ Your choice of Asahi or Hayward electrically actuated ball valves

While both deliver the dependable performance RK2 is known for, our Pro Series models are designed for more demanding systems and are especially well-suited for outdoor installations.

Our new HMI screen for our Pro-Tect UV units is now rolling out on all units ordered after June 1st🥳

We’ve listened to your feedback—and we know our previous screens weren’t meeting the quality standards you expect from RK2.

Over the past several months, we’ve been testing different options and working to find a screen that delivers the reliability and functionality we want for our UV systems. We’re excited to say we’ve found it!

So, what’s new?

• Standardized screen size: All Pro-Tect UV units will now use the same size screen.
• Larger display: The standard screen size is increasing from 3.5” to 4.3”.
• IP65 rated: The new screen is protected against dust and water and eliminates the need for the clear latching cover.
• Audio feedback: Touch inputs now include an audible confirmation, making it easier to know when your command has been registered.

Our new HMI screen will also streamline our production process, helping us improve lead times and get your UV units to you faster.

After 14 years with RK2 Systems, we're saying goodbye to a valued team member and friend.

Throughout his time here, Adrian has been an outstanding part of RK2. His dedication, professionalism, and willingness to help others have left a lasting impact on our team and the many people he has worked with over the years.

While we're sad to see him go, we're excited for him as he begins a new chapter with Oceans Design. We wish him nothing but success in this new opportunity and look forward to seeing all that he accomplishes!

Thank you for 14 years of hard work, friendship, and commitment to RK2. You'll always be part of the RK2 family.
