Tons of options this month! Intermediate Clicker, Wallflowers, and a North County Introduction to Nose Work are all getting started in the next few weeks. September will also bring a new Therapy Dog class, for which we always recommend a CGC certification. Attention & focus in changing or novel environments is a vital skill. Just like any skill, you can improve it with practice! Group classes are a great way to stretch this muscle, but training field trips can be a wonderful addition. Swap your normal walk for a stroll in a new park, trail, or neighborhood and add a little cue practice for a happy, tired pup.
