Today is a day dedicated to kindness, generosity, and making a difference — and sometimes, making a difference has four paws, a wagging tail, and a whole lot of love to give. ❤️

At Bay Area Pet Adoptions, every act of kindness matters.

🐶 A donation helps fill a food bowl.
🐱 A foster home gives a frightened pet a safe place to land.
🩺 Support helps provide lifesaving medical care.
🐾 A volunteer gives their time and love.
🏡 An adoption gives a homeless animal the future they've been waiting for.

For nearly 60 years, our community has helped us continue our mission of giving homeless pets the care, compassion, and second chances they deserve.

💕💕While this little guy’s name may describe his shape, it does not describe his personality. Potato would be highly offended if the word “couch” preceded his name. This cutie runs on people, toys, and pure enthusiasm. He launches himself after tossed toys (they are all his), enjoys the occasional game of tug-of-war, and can leap onto the couch with enough gusto to make gravity seem optional. Add a fondness for attention and a talent for making friends with other dogs, and you’ve got one seriously fun little spud. 🥔🐾

Hail! They call me Sparta. I am descended from the Roman gods of combat, however I have retired and am searching for the life of peace now. I tolerate other specimens of fur as long as I have my safe zone, a quite place I can call my own. I dabble in the culinary art of baking, and would consider whipping up a batch of biscuits…if you treat me right. I’m a mature fellow looking for that special home to spend the balance of my years on this world. I’ve lived a bit over 10 years, but still have that mischievous spark in my eyes.
