Gentle, experiencedgroomers committed to your pet’s care and well being. Michelle has been working with animals professionally for over 17 years. Her professional animal experience includes working as a Pet Groomer, Bather, Veterinary Assistant and Pet Sitter. She is an assistant dog trainer and also runs the Small Dog Play Group for Braveheart Dog Training. Michelle was a licensed massage therapi

st and has offered classes for canine massage. She has also been active in dog rescue and three of her own dogs were rescue dogs. Michelle's own dog family consists of Dennis, her pug, Fae, a shy terrier mix, Cheerio, a two legged longhair Chihuahua who uses a cart to get around and Coney a Chinese Crested she adopted as a senior. She also has a cheeky cat named Possum. Colette Posadas
Colette has been with Fluff Dog Grooming since the business was opened. She has been grooming for over 20 years and is a well respected poodle handler and breeder. While she specializes in toy and miniature poodles she loves all breeds of dogs. Her hobbies are dog shows, music festivals and spending time with her husband Mark. Colette works Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays by appointment only. Vicki Ronchette
Vicki has been grooming dogs since 1990 and working in the pet industry since her teens. Vicki has worked as a dog trainer and behavior consultant, groomer, veterinary assistant and dog walker. Vicki competes in dog sports with her dogs and she is the founder and lead instructor of Show Dog Prep School, an online school for training and presenting show dogs. Vicki works on Mondays and Thursdays and specializes in senior and fearful dogs.

Heather L. We have a gentle, careful touch with animals and while we enjoy working with all dogs, we have a soft spot for senior dogs and dogs that are shy, fearful or sensitive. Our goal is to build a relationship with her client dogs so that they feel safe and comfortable with us. We are committed to grooming, handling and managing your dog with compassion and care and uses positive reinforcement methods to help dogs that are fearful or stressed with grooming. Michelle is a member of the Pet Professional Guild (PPG) which is the Association for Force Free Pet Professionals.

Oftentimes people will bring in their dogs and request that we "de-shed" them. While we can certainly bath, blow dry and then brush them out which will remove a great deal of the shedding coat, they won't ever be truly de-shedded. A dog with fur's coat generally goes through one or two big "blows" a year where they drop a lot of of their coat and this is the time where brushing, combing and blowing out the coat is important as the blown coat can pack in and form mats, but there will always be more shedding or some shedding.

The best thing to do is regularly brush your dog at home in between the regular grooming. Oh, and clipping the coat off to a shorter coat does not solve the shedding issue, the dog will simply shed shorter hair and with a dog that's coat is fur, that coat may not grow back normally after being clipped off.

Did you know that dog's with seasonal allergies can benefit from being wiped down after walks? That's right, pollen can get on your dog's body, feet, legs and head and cause itching and scratching. Wiping your dog off after a walk with a dog wipe or even a damp paper towel can great improve seasonal allergies.

Do you know who your groomer is? Be sure to get your groomer's name so you can request the same person next time. Knowing who to schedule with makes it much easier to set up appointments. Better yet, schedule your follow up appointments at the time of pick up!
