Happy Pride Month from Walk Intuit 🌈

One of our core messages as a community is simple: You do not have to walk alone.

For many within the LGBTQ+ community, Pride is more than a celebration. It is a reclamation. A homecoming. A remembering that your identity, your joy, your humanity, and your belonging were never things that needed to be earned.

You belong.

At Walk Intuit, we believe healing happens in relationship: through being seen, accompanied, and supported in both the painful and beautiful parts of being human. We believe every person deserves spaces where their nervous system can soften instead of bracing for harm.

This month, and every month, we want to say clearly:
You are welcome here.
You are worthy of care.
You deserve spaces where you do not have to hide parts of yourself to receive love or support.

As Richard Rohr writes:

Walk Intuit's Kids Horsemanship Summer Camp is happening this summer and we are SO excited about it. 🐴✨

Here's the deal: 4 days a week, 3.5 hours a day, real horses, real skills, real confidence.

Kids ages 7–15 get hands-on time learning horse care, grooming, leading, and yes, actual riding.

Plus art, activities, and a team that genuinely loves working with kids. The thing that makes this different? Our staff includes both horsemanship pros and associate therapists trained in child development. So every kid gets seen, supported, and cheered on.

Three sessions this summer:

📅 July 27–30 · Ages 11–15
📅 Aug 3–6 · Ages 7–10

Horses are highly sensitive, social animals who respond directly to nervous system states, not stories.

They simply respond to what is.

That’s why equine-assisted and experiential therapies can reach places that talk therapy alone sometimes can’t, especially for people healing from trauma, emotional dysregulation, or chronic disconnection.

Horsemanship is the skill of working with horses: Learning how to communicate with them, care for them, and handle them safely. It's not just about riding. It's about understanding how horses think and respond, and building a relationship based on trust and clear communication.

Memorial Day is a day of remembrance, for those we've lost, and for those still carrying the weight of service long after they've come home.

The invisible wounds of PTSD, anxiety, and moral injury don't end when deployment does. And traditional therapy doesn't always reach them.

That's why we do what we do.

At Walk Intuit, our horses meet people exactly where they are, no words required.

Through trauma-informed, equine-assisted therapy, we offer a different kind of healing: grounded in presence, rooted in the body, held in relationship.

Today we honor the fallen, and we hold hope for the living. If you or someone you love is still finding the way back, we're here.
