Town and Country Dog Training Club, Inc. is offering another session of AKC Rally in Small Spaces. Different signs each week from all Classes. I'm teaching this class using an 8x10 area with video and picture of each weekly class course. Here's the picture for Week 1 beginning on Thursday. I just lay signs on the floor to make maneuvering easier for dog and handler. So students are also learning how to set up a course. Due to the Small Spaces, signs are closer together. Some students are able to use larger areas. You are getting 5-7 new signs each week. Everyone does an individual walk through and two run-throughs with your dog with feedback & discussion. Class is on Thursdays at 7pm PST. Class is limited to 5 dogs.

I'll be teaching a virtual "Rally for Small Spaces" class beginning next week, 7pm PST for all levels. Modifications made for Novice dogs. Works great in a garage and will fit in an 8x10 room. Usually 8 signs each week with lots of feedback. Work on Walk-Throughs, and at least 2 turns with your dog. Easy to have two of your dogs take a spot while at home! One hour class, limited to 5 dogs. Understanding Platforms and Pivot bowls would be helpful. $100.

Here's a nice video on getting a nice left turn/pivot with your dog. It's a bit long. This dog was not shaped to platforms/pivot bowls for the first 10 years of his life. He is a well trained dog with an OTCH. This is the beginning of him learning about these tools. This is strictly a demo of how to get a nice left turn if your dog doesn't know how to swing his back end on the turn. There are several left turns in Rally.

Virtual Rally class for amall spaces being offered starting on Thursday, January 29 at 7PM PST. Check it out. All levels of signs are offered weekly. 5-8 signs per course.
