Most people get a lil bonus day added to their weekend tomorrow so we thought we’d feature some adoptions that added even more love! 3 very special bonded pairs are in their forever homes and we are delighted for the lucky families who have doubled the love!

The Dancing Cat is delighted and honored that Eleanor and her friend wanted to give back to the kitties by having a lemonade stand! Eleanor’s bonus Mom is our longtime volunteer Leslie who helps us in so many ways so it is no big surprise she’s helping inspire her own family. We asked Eleanor why she wanted to help us and here is her response:

“I wanted to raise money to help them rebuild the Dancing Cat, because it helps the cats find homes, and I really love cats. The cats have a lot of fun there!”

Not only did these little cat admirers dedicate their day to helping us, Eleanor’s Dad matched their earnings and our cats will be getting $70 in donations! We hope this inspires more kids to get outside and get creative like Eleanor did, a huge thank you to her whole family!

Calling all community members, your new hobby just dropped 🌟 We know it is hard to motivate to get out and try new things but we promise you’ll not only learn a skill (for free!) but you’ll meet like-minded folks who also want to help cats at our TNR workshops. We get calls every day from people who want someone else to come trap the cats they see (not a service we offer), many people want an instant solution without any inconvenience to themselves but the truth is this is a community challenge that requires the community to get involved. Our role is to teach, advise and loan trapping equipment so that people feel empowered to join in being part of the solution to overpopulation. Bliss is a lap cat through and through—happy to cuddle at night, sit in your lap during the day, and even be carried around the house. She’ll follow you from room to room, always wanting to be close. Playful and curious, with a special love for spring toys and the Cat Dancer. She’ll proudly carry her toys around the house and entertain herself until it’s time for another cuddle. We knew she would immediately charm a family and in the twitch of whisker she did just that!

Bliss has hit the lottery and is rich with company! She joins her parents, 2 human siblings and THREE older kitty siblings! She loves attention and being included so this is a dream outcome, Bliss found her bliss! Her siblings Midnight, Pippa and Margot are all in the mix but Midnight became her bestie right away. Congratulations Bliss on becoming adoption #2027!

Dolly Purrton is singing everything but the blues since arriving in her foster home. She’s still a bit too itty bitty to be available for adoption yet but we want all of her fans to know she is having fun 9-5!

Jenkins has the distinction of being one of our MOST photographed cats given how many photos we found in his folder. He gave us some really insanely funny shots, lots of blue steel and everything in between. Beyond his really, really ridiculous good looks he has a big personality to match. So it is no surprise that he joined a dynamic home where he now has a menagerie of siblings: 1 dog, 1 cat and 1 tortoise. We are delighted that Mr. Purrsonality is living his best life with a family who loves him and we will treasure our Jenkins photo trove forever! Jenkins is The Dancing Cat’s adoption #2026!

Ben and Scarlett came to The Dancing Cat as part of mama Pixie’s litter, and it was obvious right from the start that these two were a packaged deal.

These siblings balance each other out. Scarlett is the fearless little ninja who zooms up cat trees and brings energy to everything she does. Ben is more of the sweet, quiet one but he is always the first one to walk over and start a cozy cuddle session.

Whether they were wrestling, climbing, or squeezed together for a nap, these two were attached at the hip. And the best part of their story? They did not have to say goodbye to each other!

Ben and Scarlett have found their forever home together as our adoptions #2024 and #2025! We could not be happier that this dynamic duo gets to grow beside each other and bring double the love (and trouble) to their new family.
