We are always on the lookout for new products that not only improve the lives of bunnies, but also the lives of their hoomins that care for them. ROOLY does just that!

We've seen this litter box a couple times online, but the cost seemed a bit high to us to take the gamble. We had never seen it in person, didn't know anyone that had one and it's hard to judge quality online. If you are going to invest in a good product, you want to know it's a good product, right? Recently, we bonded a pair of bunnies that had been referred to us by another rescue who's adopter was having a difficult time. One thing that we have people bring with them for a bonding that will need more than a day with us is a freshly cleaned (or new) litter box so that when they go home it will smell like both of them to cut down on territorial issues once home. We were so excited to see them show up with the ROOLY Litter Box! We could finally see it for ourselves and see how bunnies take to it. Within hours we were already online ordering one for ourselves and for a volunteer. The pan is large and can easily fit multiple bunnies as well as giant breeds. The grate is smooth and rounded so it won't hurt your bunnies' feet or give them sore hocks. You have the choice of regular sized holes, that will work for most bunnies' p**ps or larger sized holes if you have giants. There are also a few different color choices.
P**p and p*e go through the holes keeping the mess contained. Your bunny stays clean and dry and you don't need to worry about your bunny kicking/digging out yucky litter and p**p. It also cuts down on hay waste and litter saving you money. You can choose whatever type of litter you'd like. We use a p*e pad topped with a bit of pine pellets to absorb and mask urine smell. The bunnies took to it right away and even flopped, plopped and splooted in the box. Clean-up is easy just roll up and toss the p*e pad and replace. If a deeper clean is ever needed, just use vinegar & water.

SHELTER BUNNY OF THE WEEK

Zero is an amazing playful bunny. He is adorable to watch zoomie, binky and flop at playtime at the shelter. He comes right up to you for pets, loves and of course treats! He's been at the shelter for quite some time and really needs out. Zero would enjoy a friend. He's always interested in the bunnies near him, especially the pretty girls! Meet the newest member of the Clover Hop family! Peachie Pie, is only about 3 weeks old and was found in the middle of the road! A concerned citizen got out of her car and scooped her up. She would have been hit by a car and killed if this kind woman hadn't caught sight of her! She's very tiny. It just so happened that close by one of our cat rescue friends was trapping kitties that needed vet attention. The lady stopped to show the cat rescue as she was unsure what to do next. Luckily, the cat rescue was able to contact us and arrangements were made to have her picked up and brought to us. Peachie Pie, was pretty dirty, bony and dehydrated but thankfully did not have injuries or cat bites which are highly toxic to these little ones. The area has been searched but no other bunnies have been found.
Peachie Pie is doing much better now and enjoying her special rabbit milk replacement formula. She rewards her foster mama with lots of kisses!

Cinderella is truly living the life of the fairytale character she's named after. She is so sweet, gentle and precious. A few days ago Cinderella was about to get her happily ever after and was all packed up and ready to leave a local shelter and head to a foster home. We were so excited for her, it was just like in the story when Cinderella is excited and ready to go to the ball! Then, just like in the story when the evil stepsisters rip Cinderella's dress and shreds her dreams, bunny Cinderella's dreams were ripped away at the last moment when the foster that was lined up called and pulled out literally at the last second. There was nowhere for Cinderella to go and she had to be unpacked and put back in the shelter kennel. Please help us give Cinderella her dream of a loving home. She is ok around both male and female bunnies and would make a wonderful friend to another bunny. We specialize in bonding and would be happy to help bond her to a special friend.
