Foggy Paws SF Hello! I graduated with my degree in business from Columbia College Chicago in 2019. During my time in Chicago, I joined the dog walking company Wag in 2017.

Although I've always had a passion for animals and initially pursued a path in veterinary studies, a pre-vet internship made me realize that seeing animals in pain wasn't the right fit for me. Becoming a Wag walker meant undergoing training, learning dog etiquette, and passing a thorough background check. What started as a way to spend time with animals while earning an income turned into a fulfil

ling past time. I love being the highlight of a pup's day, opening the door to excitement and love. Over the years, I've built strong connections with pet parents who specifically request my services because they trust my dedication. Fast forward to today, after six years on the Wag platform with a 5-star rating and over 2,000 clients served, I found myself unfulfilled in my desk career in San Francisco. I had moved my Wag walking business to the Bay Area, and what began as occasional walks turned into reoccurring clients and a high volume of requests. With the support of a loyal clientele, I decided it was time to take my own dog show on the road! Introducing Foggy Paws, my personalized dog walking service. Inspired by the love I have for my own dog, Javi, Foggy Paws is where your pet is treated like royalty and showered with love at every sniff. I'm committed to providing a service that goes beyond the ordinary, ensuring your furry friend gets the care and attention they deserve. September 5th-12th, Ashlyn out of town, a helper will be facilitating daycare 💜

October 4th-13th, Ashlyn gone, helpers helping. Daycare all the way CLOSED 10/5-10/7th for a cleaning/reset. No NEW boarding requests during this time. 💜

Hi! I’m Ashlyn, the main human behind Foggy Paws. 😊
I started Foggy Paws with one simple goal—to create a place where dogs feel like they’re spending the day with family instead of at a traditional daycare. Every dog who walks through my door becomes part of my extended family, and nothing means more to me than earning your trust. Even when I’m away, I’m always just a phone call away and remain involved behind the scenes because Foggy Paws will always be my heart.

While Matt isn’t officially part of the Foggy Paws team, he deserves a special introduction anyway. ❤️
Foggy Paws wouldn’t be what it is today without his constant support. Since daycare is run from our home, he’s incredibly generous in sharing his space with a revolving door of wagging tails every single day. Whether he’s helping with daycare, sneaking in extra belly rubs, or simply loving on the pups, he has become a familiar face to many of our regulars. The dogs absolutely adore him, and he loves every one of them right back.

From my very first conversation with Amy, I knew there was something special about her. She has a calm, nurturing presence that immediately put me at ease, and it’s easy to see why families continue to trust her with their dogs time and time again. Amy understands that caring for a dog is about so much more than feeding and walking—it’s about helping them feel safe, comfortable, and loved while their families are away. Her kindness, reliability, and genuine love for animals made her an easy choice, and I couldn’t be more excited to welcome her to the Foggy Paws family.

Miranda officially joins us for her first daycare day this Tuesday! 🎉 From our very first conversation, I knew Miranda shared the same values that make Foggy Paws special. She’s thoughtful, dependable, and genuinely cares about making dogs feel safe, happy, and loved while their families are away. I’m so excited for both the pups and their humans to get to know her, and I have a feeling she’s going to fit right in. 💜

Louie has been my friend since he was just mere months old! He was my first customer, and could find his way to Foggy Paws blindfolded! It’s been so stinking cute to watch him become the mature MAN we know today 😂. And HAPPY GOTCHA DAY to our favorite, empathetic, silly, cuddly friend, Apollo! When Apollo first started coming to FP, he had flash backs to his pre-rescue days. It took about 2 weeks for Apollo to trust that he is safe, loved, spoiled AND most importantly mama always comes back Ana 😂 It’s been so gratifying to watch Apollo come out of his shell, play with friends, and trust the world and dogs around him 💕 Ana and Brian, you have the sweetest rescue in the land!
