Hello! I graduated with my degree in business from Columbia College Chicago in 2019. During my time in Chicago, I joined the dog walking company Wag in 2017.

Although I've always had a passion for animals and initially pursued a path in veterinary studies, a pre-vet internship made me realize that seeing animals in pain wasn't the right fit for me. Becoming a Wag walker meant undergoing training, learning dog etiquette, and passing a thorough background check. What started as a way to spend time with animals while earning an income turned into a fulfil

ling past time. I love being the highlight of a pup's day, opening the door to excitement and love. Over the years, I've built strong connections with pet parents who specifically request my services because they trust my dedication. Fast forward to today, after six years on the Wag platform with a 5-star rating and over 2,000 clients served, I found myself unfulfilled in my desk career in San Francisco. I had moved my Wag walking business to the Bay Area, and what began as occasional walks turned into reoccurring clients and a high volume of requests. With the support of a loyal clientele, I decided it was time to take my own dog show on the road! Introducing Foggy Paws, my personalized dog walking service. I am back from vacation tomorrow evening! ☀️ Thank you all for letting me get back home to my family and get some much-needed self-care in. And a huge thank you to Mando and Matt for making sure everything ran like a well-oiled machine while I was away. I truly couldn’t do it without them. ❤️

Which brings me to the really bad buildup of this announcement…

We’re losing our sweet friend Mando. 😭

I am so happy that life is serving him opportunities and that he’s embarking on a wonderful new adventure. While I am incredibly excited for him, I won’t lie — this one stings. Mando has been such a special part of Foggy Paws, and he set the bar unbelievably high.

That being said, here we are again in the all-too-familiar position of being down a helper/walker. Finding someone to fill Mando’s shoes is going to be really hard, and I don’t want to rush the process. Finding the right person to mesh with your pups is so important to me, and I’d rather take my time than settle.

I’ve already reached out to the clients who will be affected most directly, but as we’ve done in the past, I’ll be offering daycare services at your current walking rate until we find the right addition to the team.

Mando’s last day with Foggy Paws will be June 29th. Please join me in wishing him the very best on his next adventure. We are going to miss him so much! 🐾❤️

🐾 PSA from me while I’m a little less than half way through my trip, and have been making this a dream!!! I’m so proud and happy that I can get some rest while things run without missing a beat! I’ve been seeing the updates and it looks like everyone is having a blast!🐾

Hello friends! It’s that time of summer where I head home to spend some time with my family! I’ll be heading home to IL, June 4th–18th.

Foggy Paws will be operating as normal while I’m away, with Mondo and Matt running things here at home. Many of you have already met Mondo, and of course Matt knows all of the pups and routines just as well as I do. Daycares, boardings and walks are all still on!

I’ll still be reachable throughout my trip, and I’ll be reaching out individually to set up group chats so everyone has an easy line of communication while I’m away. 🐾

Happy 1st birthday to our favorite bug in all of San Francisco 🐞!! Ladybug has grown up to be such a sweet, sassy cuddle bug before our very eyes!!! I love all of your silly sounds and big cuddles! 🥹🎉

🐾🫶🏻😴 Sure, daycare is for playing,socializing and exercising! However, it’s also very heart melting when I turn around and see a cuddle puddle! Believe it or not, we have enough room to monkey around while offering some peaceful spots to take a break from the hustle and bustle! Although, one sneeze and nap time is over and it’s back to game time! 😆😴🐾

We’ve had so many new faces join Foggy Paws this year (yaaaay 🥹), so I figured this is a good time for a little refresher on some FP expectations and guidelines.

What I love about Foggy Paws is that it’s my baby and I get to welcome your babies into my home. From time to time I do need to prioritize my amazing partner Matt and our own pup. I love what I do so much, and I truly try my best to accommodate whenever I can, but as Foggy Paws continues to grow, I also really need to make sure things stay sustainable for both my business and home life.

A few gentle reminders:

🐾 Pick-up & Drop-off Times:
Please be mindful of pick-up and drop-off windows. Pick-ups after 6:30pm or drop-offs before 7am will now include a $15 fee. I completely understand that life happens, and communication is always appreciated — if something comes up, just talk to me. I’ll always do my best to work with you when I can. I just ask that extra time is communicated rather than assumed.

🐾 Boarding Requests:
Boarding is never an automatic yes. I truly try to accommodate as many requests as possible, but sometimes I simply can’t — whether it’s scheduling, home balance, or needing time to enjoy life with my own family and pup. Thank you for understanding that not being able to board is never personal. Sometimes having a back up sitter is a safe call!

🐾 Same-Day Daycare:
I will always do my best when last-minute daycare needs pop up, but as always, communication is key and advance notice is hugely appreciated whenever possible.

🐾 Tummy Troubles:
I always note on your pups report card if there was anything not normal about potty’s. Foggy Paws does not provide anything outside of owner-approved food or an occasional BarkBox treats unless there is a specific request not to. Loose stool can happen for so many reasons, and I am extremely hyper-vigilant when it comes to daycare safety, feeding, and allergy awareness. Your pups’ well-being is always my top priority (cont in comments) 🫶🏻🐾

🐾 ☀️hello all my sweet friends! And thanks for the helping with the announcement 🤣! Yes! Boarding requests are closed for the summer! We are filled to the brim! Please check back in August! I could potentially accommodate a short stay, but no long term boarding slots are available at this time! Looking forward to a fun summer with the pups who booked for summer sleepovers 🫶🏻☀️🐾
