All of our conures are from rescue or rehome situations with different backgrounds! This creates significant challenges when building a flock dynamic. We always say that you can achieve tolerance at the very least with most birds, but there’s no guaranteed time scale with this.

I’ve been working behind the scenes to build that tolerance, and for the first time yesterday, Pickles, Scampi and Charlie were out together peacefully!

Olive also came out with them later, but I timed it for after Scampi had a bath so she was more relaxed. Scampi has had a real issue with Olive from day 1, so it was great for them to have a calm interaction!
