Today is my Business Partner Lisa’s Birthday! We at South Bark celebrate her. Her continual dedication to Community events, projects and committees is inspiring. Her passion for South Bark, our business, our crew and love of her friends and family is legendary. Happiest of Birthdays Lisa. May you have many more.❤️

There are a lot of new faces around here lately, so we thought it was a pretty great time to reintroduce ourselves. 🐾

Hi! We’re Lisa and Donna, the owners of South Bark Dog Wash here in San Diego. We’ve been doing this for more than 25 years, and we still love what we do.

South Bark actually started as a self-serve dog wash, and over the years we’ve grown into so much more. Today you’ll find:

🛁 Self-serve dog wash
✂️ Full-service grooming
🦷 Non-anesthesia teeth cleaning
🐶 Retail for dogs + cats
🎓 Dog training classes on our patio

We’ve had the chance to meet SO many amazing people and their pets over the years, and that community is really what makes South Bark special to us.

And yes, we love making silly videos. 😂

We love to laugh, have fun and share a little bit of what goes on around here.

So if you’re new here, welcome! We’re happy you found us. Follow along, or better yet, stop into the shop and say hi.

We’d love to meet you and your pups in person. 💛🐾

The temperature is also HOT so please be careful out there folks. Drink water, take your time, rest in between whatever you do and stay in the shade whenever possible. We want our "Hawt and Cool" clients to stay that way without overheating. South Bark has the Air Conditioning on inside and shade over our patio. We are here for you and your dogs. The heatwave should break soon.
