Main takeaways from the dog park, always keep moving, avoid dogs that are digging, playing with holes, or stationary people. If you see people talking to their dog, get your dog out of the way because most likely they’re stressed about what their dogs doing. Say the command once then follow through. Every time your dog looks back at you give some verbal acknowledgment and ideally reward with something they love.

Focus on rewarding check ins. Correct and pause when your dog breaks the 15 foot range. Try to reward 9/10 times in between corrections. Keep walking, find the escape route, walk in areas where dogs are calm, not playing ball and surrounded by stationary people, avoid the drinking water bowls
