Zorro...what a wild ride it's been this past year, but we made it. You made it! Against all odds! Forever grateful for Houndstown Carnegie for giving Zorro the best few weeks of his life and helping him find his furever home. Thank you to the very small group of people in CA, FL and PA that wouldn't give up on this special boy. Please share Zorro's rescue story. Every shelter doggie deserves a chance like this.

From Jaxacps... This is one ot the hardest posts we've ever had to share. But we need our community to be aware of what's happened-and we need our community's help getting justice.

Less than a week ago, a young blue and white pit bul terrier, wearina a blue harness. was found tied to a tree. Someone had restrained him and then shot him multiple times.

The Officer who found this devastating scene is calling the dog Valor.

What happened to Valor was not an accident. This was not neglect. This was a violent crime against a defenseless animal. Someone made a horrific choice. And then that someone walked away. And we're making this post now because the person who did this is still out there.

The first image in this post is Al generated. It shows what Valor SHOULD be right now: alive, safe, happy Loved. But sadly, that isn't reality. The reality is a location and an x-rav. The reality is the last photo, exactly where this dog's life ended.

We placed a warning image before the final photo because we know not everyone wants to--or can-see it, but we think it is important to share. What happened to Valorooter!!!

We need your help, Duval: someone knows something, Someone saw something. Someone has heard a name, a story, a rumor. Silence protects the wrong person.

If you have ANY information, no matter how small it feels, please come forward; tips can be anonvmous. It is critical that we hold the person who did this accountable.
