San Diego House Rabbit Society, Inc San Diego House Rabbit Society, created in 1992, is a nonprofit animal welfare org SDHRS is a non-profit charity organization.

Each year, SDHRS rescues hundreds of rabbits, many in need of medical care which is often life-saving. Our donation will help defray their medical bills, which can exceed $95,000 per year.

Sometimes food just tastes better when it’s coming from someone else’s mouth. Bean and Sprout certainly seem to think so.

Bean and Sprout aren’t quite ready for adoption yet, but they’re enjoying some much-deserved downtime in their foster home.

These two were found outside in front of an auto shop before a Good Samaritan stepped in and brought them to us for help.

Bean and Sprout are very active and LOVE having room to run, explore, and play. They’ll eventually need a home that can provide them with a large living space and plenty of daily run time.

Right now, they’re also incredibly skittish and still learning that people can be safe and kind. Their foster home is giving them the time, patience, and space they need to build confidence and learn to trust.

For now, their only job is to feel safe, be rabbits, and enjoy all that space.
