🐾 Loud Noises Can Be Scary for Pets! 🐾

With the upcoming Miramar Air Show (September 25–27), we want to remind our pet families that the loud sounds from aircraft can be frightening for dogs and cats.

Some pets may experience:
• Anxiety or fear
• Pacing or restlessness
• Hiding or trembling
• Excessive barking or vocalizing
• Changes in normal behavior

🏠 A little preparation can go a long way! Keep your pet indoors, provide a quiet and comfortable space, and consider calming aids if needed.

If your pet becomes especially anxious with loud noises, give us a call at 858-271-1152. Our veterinary team can discuss whether an anti-anxiety medication may be appropriate to help your pet stay calm and comfortable.

Center Veterinary Clinic will be closed on Friday, July 4th in observance of Independence Day. We hope you and your pets have a safe and happy holiday!
