🎆 TORREY HIGHLANDS PET PARENTS — HEADS UP TONIGHT! 🐾

Westview High School’s Homecoming football game is tonight, and that means fireworks over the field. 🎇

For us, it’s part of the celebration. For many pets, it can feel like the sky is explotding.

Before kickoff: 🐶 Bring pets inside early
🐱 Close windows and doors
📺 Turn on TV, music, or white noise
🛏️ Create a cozy hiding spot
🏷️ Double-check ID tags and microchip info
🚪 Be extra careful opening doors once fireworks begin

A little preparation can make a big difference for anxious pets.

Please share with your Torrey Highlands neighbors so everyone gets the heads-up. 💜🐾

If someone is taken off the street by ICE, do not look away.

If you witness it, document what you safely can:

• Date, time, and exact location
• What happened, in order — stick to what you personally saw and heard
• Names or badge numbers of officers, if visible
• Agency markings, uniforms, vehicle descriptions, and license plates
• The name of the person detained, if known
• Names and contact information for other witnesses
• Photos or video from a safe distance, where lawful — do not physically interfere
• Any statements made by officers or the person detained
• Whether a warrant was shown or mentioned, without trying to physically inspect or seize it

Write everything down as soon as possible, while details are fresh. Keep the original photos, videos, and notes. Avoid posting sensitive information publicly if doing so could put the detained person or their family at risk.

Then report what you witnessed to an immigration attorney or legal advocacy organization and, when appropriate, your congressional representative.

Witness. Document. Report. Don’t interfere — but don’t look away.

Greeting each 'staycation day' as a snifari adventure with road trips, cruising Solana Beach, and visiting our favorite Magical Mutt store, Mutropolis, for the boutique personal shopping experience (that always has a fresh bowl of water and treats waiting from us) of high quality foods, and wonderful gear and fashionable/seasonal accessories. Remi and I were looking for vaca accessories...and Birthday tag custom collar tags and crunchy cute cookies and BD hats for two of our dear friends, the October boys, the Pawstars Snowy-6 yrs, and OM, 8 yrs.

Yappy Sunday-Funday...

The winds have died down and little by little the heats is dropping, too!

Remember the paw protection temperature, 85°, keep those booties handy!
Does your pup cooperate wearing booties? Eva reluctantly does, slides into them assuming a jaunty gait when wearing...so cute. Kuma, Karma and Remi aren't candidates...we've avoided midday heat when getting out for snifari and fetch
