🧡🐾 Gus Gus is looking for his forever indoor home! 🐾🧡

Meet Gus Gus — quite possibly the sweetest orange cat you'll ever meet.

After everything he's been through, all this boy wants is a warm bed, a loving family, and someone to purr beside at night. His foster says he has been happily sleeping with her teenage son every night, soaking up the affection and enjoying the simple comfort of finally feeling safe. 🥹🧡

Gus Gus is the definition of a lap cat. He is calm, affectionate, gentle, and incredibly loving. He gets along well with other cats, has done great around quiet, cat-friendly dogs, and is wonderful with gentle children. He's the kind of cat who settles in beside you, leans into pets, and purrs his heart out. This handsome boy is approximately 3 years old, neutered, vaccinated, litter box trained, and ready for a family of his own.

🐾 Good with calm cats
🐾 Good with calm, respectful dogs
🐾 Wonderful with gentle kids
🐾 Extremely affectionate
🐾 Professional cuddler
🐾 Indoor-only home
🐾 We will always take our kitties back and we will always do a trial adoption to see if it is a fit.

📲 Text 858-883-4222 to meet Gus Gus - located in San Diego. But for the right home we will get him delivered throughout Southern California or within a direct flight distance at no charge.

Gus Gus is FIV positive, which sounds much scarier than it actually is. Cats with FIV who live indoors typically live normal, happy lifespans. FIV is not easily spread through casual contact, grooming, sharing food bowls, or simply living together. Just like human HIV - it takes deep biting wounds or s*x. Because Gus Gus is neutered and exceptionally mellow, he can often safely live with non-FIV-positive cats as well. He does not need daily medicine!

A month ago, Gus Gus came into our rescue after being mistakenly put back outside by the Humane Society for being feral. He was returned outdoors despite being an incredibly friendly, social cat. But then he wasn't thriving on the street (what cat does?) and we picked him up and took him into the Humane Society for a medical review. Because of his tipped ear and his failure to thrive on the street (he's allergic to fleas) they recommended euthanasia - he's had the best six weeks of his entire life in foster care - we want him to have the best next 15 years at least! Please help us by finding him an adopter.

He did have an episode of pillow foot on the streets (pododermatitis), which responded very well to a simple course of doxycycline and has since resolved. Our hope is that living safely indoors will help prevent future flare-ups, but he takes his antibiotics easily and happily if needed.

The biggest thing Gus Gus needs is what every cat deserves: a safe indoor home where he will never have to fend for himself again.

He has great teeth (so no impending dental bills), a giant orange-cat personality, and so much love to give. We truly believe whoever adopts him is going to wonder how they ever lived without him.

💲 Adoption fee waived to the perfect indoor-only home!

Please share and help us find this amazing boy the forever family he deserves. 🧡🐾

🍰🐾 Tiramisu is Ready for Adoption 🐾🍰

Meet Tiramisu — the tiny orange daughter of Mama Aperol 🍊🧡

Tiramisu and her siblings survived the unimaginable after being abandoned inside an apartment for 7–10 days with no food or water. Thanks to their incredibly devoted mama, Aperol (who is also available for adoption!), the kittens survived and absolutely flourished. 💔➡️❤️

And Tiramisu? She decided life is AMAZING and plans to experience all of it at full speed. 😂

This little girl is bright, fearless, affectionate, wildly playful, and endlessly entertaining. She wakes up ready to GO every single day. She races around the house, wrestles, climbs, explores, snuggles hard, naps hard… and then wakes up ready to do it all over again. Like all healthy kittens, she has BIG kitten energy. ⚡🐾

Tiramisu is absolutely not a couch potato kitten. She NEEDS:
🐱 Another young, energetic kitty to play and wrestle with
⚡ An active home that understands kittens need lots of play and enrichment
🧸 Daily interactive playtime and stimulation

Honestly, she is currently making our foster cat FurrLecia tired. 😭😂

Tiramisu is:
💖 Extremely affectionate
🐾 Very social and outgoing
🐱 Good with other cats after a brief adjustment period (usually 1–3 days)
🐶 Good with cat-friendly dogs after proper introductions
👧 Great for kids who are used to playful, fast-moving kittens
🛋️ A champion snuggler once she finally crashes for nap time

Like all our kittens, she is:
💉 Spayed
💉 Vaccinated (age-appropriate FVRCP)
🪱 Dewormed
🐾 Flea treated
📍 Microchipped
🚽 Litter box trained
🏠 Indoor-only home required

📍 Located in Pacific Beach (San Diego)

💲 Adoption fee: $200

🐾👑 Ready for Adoption! Meet Savi 👑🐾

(Short for Savage… although honestly, she is much more silly and spirited than “savage.” 😂)

Savi is tiny, adorable, wildly entertaining, and FULL of personality. This confident little tabby was found wandering outside all by herself, and from the moment she arrived, she acted like she owned the place. 👑✨

She is:
💖 Extremely affectionate
🎭 Hilarious and dramatic
🐾 Very outgoing
🛋️ A professional cuddler
🍽️ Enthusiastic about snacks
⚡ Extremely playful
😹 A tiny chaos goblin in the best possible way

Savi purrs nonstop, loves attention, and throws her whole little heart into absolutely everything she does. She wants to cuddle you, play with you, follow you around, and supervise every aspect of your life. 😂

She is not aggressive or mean at all — she is simply a VERY playful, confident kitten who never got the memo about personal space. Like many single kittens, she sometimes plays too rough with hands because she is still learning boundaries and proper kitten manners.

Because of this, Savi would do best with:
🐈 Another confident cat who can help teach her appropriate play
🐕 A slow, proper introduction to dogs
👧 Older or cat-savvy children (probably best with kids over 6 due to her enthusiastic play style)
🏠 Indoor-only home required

She would likely do great with other pets after proper introductions — she just comes in at 150% energy immediately and assumes everyone wants to be her best friend right away. 😭😂

On the night she came home from spay surgery, Savi confidently marched over, sampled everyone’s dinner, purred the entire time, and then curled up for cuddles like she had done absolutely nothing wrong. Honestly, she is impossible not to love.

For the right home, Savi is going to be an incredibly funny, affectionate, entertaining companion. She has a huge personality packed into one tiny tabby body. ❤️

Savi is:
🐾 Spayed
💉 Vaccinated (age-appropriate FVRCP)
🪱 Dewormed
🐾 Flea treated
📍 Microchipped
🚽 Litter box trained

💲 Adoption fee: $125. Ready for same day trial adoption!

🧡 Adopter needed! Who can make up to Aperol the cruelty her previous owners showed her? Did you know that orange females are "rare"? She was a rare mama to save her babies and ask for help when she was abandoned and starving! 🧡

Who can show this tiny mama cat that not all humans abandon you when you need them most?

Aperol was left trapped inside an apartment in Logan Heights with FOUR two-week-old kittens. No food. No fresh water. No help. For over a week. 💔

And somehow, this unbelievably devoted little orange mama kept every single one of her babies alive.

Even after rescue, the first thing Aperol did was climb up my leg trying to get to food because she was so desperately hungry. I will never forget it.

Now her kittens have all found homes. It is finally Aperol’s turn. 🐾

Now that she is no longer being drained by four hungry babies at the “milky boobie bar,” she is finally getting to be a kitten herself. She plays. She seeks affection. She wants love so badly. She is still trying to gain back weight after giving literally everything she had to keep her babies alive.

And despite everything humans did to her… she is unbelievably sweet. ❤️

Aperol is:
🐾 Approx. 1–2 years old
🐾 Spayed, vaccinated, microchipped
🐾 Litter box trained
🐾 Extremely affectionate and social
🐾 Good with other kitties after a proper introduction
🐾 Hesitant about giant dogs (she currently hisses at the resident Great Pyrenees, which honestly feels fair 😂)

She deserves a safe, loving indoor-only home where she will never be abandoned again.

Adult cats are so often overlooked once the kittens are adopted, but Aperol is truly special. She is the reason those babies survived. She deserves her happy ending too. 🧡

Please consider giving this incredible mama a chance. We are even open to a trial adoption — and as always, if it does not work out, she comes back to us.

📍 San Diego (centrally located in Carmel Valley/Del Mar)
💲 Adoption fee: $40

🐾✨ Meet Arnie ✨🐾
(Formerly known as Ariel… because apparently we got the gender VERY wrong 😂)

Listen — in our defense, these kittens were literally two days old when we picked them up from the finder. Mama was teeny, skinny, overwhelmed, and the LAST thing we wanted to do was stress her out and risk rejection by overhandling babies. Plus, this little guy looked SO much like his mama — a stunning dilute tortie — that we were absolutely convinced “she” was female.

Well.

“She” remained “she” right up until neuter day yesterday 😭😂

So Ariel officially became Arnie 💙

We actually already had an adopter lined up for this beautiful baby, but they were specifically hoping for a girl kitten. Since we had been telling everyone Arnie was unavailable, we are honestly shocked he is still looking for a home.

And whoever adopts him is going to be incredibly lucky.

Arnie is one of the sweetest kittens we have ever fostered. Calm. Gentle. Polite. Soft-natured. There is not a single mean bone in his gorgeous little body 🥹

He loves affection, gets along beautifully with everyone, and has such an easygoing personality that he seems to float through life without causing a bit of trouble.

And then there’s his coloring…

We have honestly never seen anything quite like him. His coat is absolutely stunning and may continue to change as he grows. Even his eyes are slightly different colors right now, making him look even more magical ✨

He truly is one of those rare kittens that stops people in their tracks.

Arnie is:
🐾 Neutered
💉 Vaccinated (age-appropriate FVRCP)
🪱 Dewormed
🐾 Flea treated
📍 Microchipped
🚽 Litter box trained
🏠 Indoor-only home required

💲 Adoption fee: $250

🧡🐾 Please find him his forever indoor home! Gus Gus more than deserves a safe, indoor, loving furrever home 🐾🧡

Meet Gus Gus — the sweetest, most-deserving orange boy you will ever meet. A cat who has already survived abandonment, untreated suffering on the streets, and was TNR’d by someone else, and the San Diego Humane Society happily looked the other way and clipped his ear and kicked him back out on to the street – sadly it appears to just suffer. 🐾💔

And yet… there is not a mean bone in him. Just a deeply mellow, gentle soul who wants nothing more than a soft place to land and a human to love. Located in San Diego! 🧡

Gus Gus originally came into our care about a month ago. Prior to that, he had been TNR’d by someone else — ear-tipped and released as “feral,” despite being clearly the opposite: extremely friendly, handleable, and social.

By the time we took him in, he was in rough shape — losing fur from a severe flea allergy (one bite triggers weeks of intense itching and self-trauma), and actively suffering from painful inflammation in his front paws caused by an autoimmune condition known as “pillow foot” (pododermatitis), which had him leaving bloody prints behind. 🐾💔

When we took him back to SD HS, he was assessed and deemed unlikely to thrive outdoors and considered for euthanasia due to his autoimmune medical needs. We didn’t see a cat who couldn’t be helped — we saw a cat who hadn’t yet been given the right care.

We stepped in, begged (and amazingly were granted the chance to give it a shot) and brought him into rescue to give him that chance.

🐾 Gus Gus is also FIV positive — which simply means he needs an indoor-only home and calm companions. Indoor FIV+ cats can live completely normal, full lifespans. Transmission is rare and requires deep bite wounds or mating, not casual contact, grooming, or shared space (just like human HIV – we aren’t in the 80’s anymore).

🐾 Autoimmune “pillow foot” (pododermatitis) — most likely not a problem if he isn’t burning his paws on concrete or running up trees and fences from coyotes.
• Easily managed with medication when needed
• Responds very well to doxycycline (he takes it like a champ)

🐾 Severe flea sensitivity
• One bite can trigger intense itching for weeks — strict flea prevention is essential
• Best placed in a home without flea exposure risks to keep him comfortable and stable – NO indoor outdoor cats or dogs. Even if on flea meds – one flea bite and he will itch for weeks!

And through all of it… he is still just the best boy.

He is calm, affectionate, and deeply trusting. The kind of cat who leans into you, melts into your lap, and purrs like he is finally safe. 🥹

We believe he was likely abandoned near a neighboring apartment complex — too friendly to be truly feral, too sweet to survive outside comfortably.

He is:
🐾 Neutered
💉 Vaccinated
🪱 Dewormed
🐾 Flea treated
📍 Microchipped
🚽 Litter box trained
🏠 Indoor-only home required

Gus Gus is approximately 3 years old, has great teeth, and an enormous capacity for love. He is already improving dramatically with treatment and care — proof that he was never “unfixable,” just untreated.

We are asking for something simple, but meaningful: a home that sees him for what he is, not what he was labeled as. A soft landing for a truly special soul. 🧡

💲 Adoption fee $50: reduced for the right home (placement matters most)
