Lange Foundation - Intervention Program SB *Currently only serving those who live in San Bernardino.

The Lange Foundation’s San Bernardino Intervention Program supports the city shelter and community by offering financial aid and resources to pet owners seeking to surrender or reclaim their pets, helping keep animals out of the shelter whenever possible.

This morning started off with excitement as we kicked off a sponsored TNVR for residents of our shelter partner City of San Bernardino Services. We were able to spay, neuter and vaccinate 17 community cats. During this time, the shelter hosted a vaccine clinic, with a line out the gate and so many loved furry friends getting necessary preventative care to keep them safe! And as the day wound down, not one but TWO very sweet adult cats came calling our name and in need of rescue. So off to the emergency vet we went with a hit by car kitty in one arm ( a crate, come on guys- safety first) and another kitty with unknown trauma in the other! Ever a dull moment in our Intervention Programs! We will keep you posted on their glow ups!

Talk about a GLOW. UP. 🙌🏻! Check out our boy Forest 😍🥰😍!! Forest waltzed his way into our San Bernardino Intervention Program exhausted, heavily matted and full of burrs, and with a wound on his foot that we couldn’t explain. It was obvious he’d been without TLC for some time, but that didn’t stop him from wagging his tail and putting a paw in our laps to tell us he would like “pets”. A 2 day spa session, a really nice warm bath and obviously some snuggles from our rescue team and veterinary teams and he is L-I-V-E livin!
Forest is an approximately 2 yr old Doodle Mix, he is neutered and current on vaccines. And will be available soon for adoption through The Lange Foundation! If interested in meeting and potentially adopting this boy, please fill out an application on our website

💔➡️❤️ Meet Nyla ❤️➡️💔

Nyla’s life has already been filled with so many twists for such a young pup. She came to the shelter as a stray alongside her mom and brother, and soon after, she was adopted into what everyone hoped would be her forever home.

But shortly after arriving home, Nyla began showing scary symptoms. Testing revealed what no one ever wants to hear — Nyla was positive for parvo and a heavy parasite burden. Sadly, her adopters were not in a position to provide the intensive care she needed, and she was brought back to the shelter.

One look at Nyla’s sweet face and gentle spirit, and we knew… giving up was not an option.

With the help of our shelter partner, Nyla was rushed straight to the vet, where she is now hospitalized and receiving the life-saving treatment she desperately needs. She’s fighting hard — and officially, she’s now part of Team Lange 🐾

💙 Parvo treatment is costly, urgent, and critical — and Nyla needs us.
Your donation will help cover her hospitalization, medical care, and continued support as she fights to survive and thrive.
