Max is still homeless. $500 has been raised to help cover transport costs to an out-of-state rescue or provide funds that a local rescue can use toward his medical expenses.

🚨 HELP NEEDED FOR MAX 🚨

Max is an unaltered male, who is currently living outdoors and is in urgent need of help. He is shy and wary of people, and an attempt to catch him for neutering was unsuccessful. He needs a rescue, foster, or someone experienced with shy dogs who can help get him to safety.

❤️ Max deserves a chance to see the good side of people.

Directed by Tom McPhee, this project goes where others won't—into the streets, the backyards, and the city council meetings—to document the reality of life for San Antonio’s forgotten dogs.

Unleashed Dogs of San Antonio is a WA2S Films project focused on understanding the failings of the animal welfare system in greater San Antonio Texas and Bexar County
