RIP NUCKY 💔🌈
12/31/2013 - 5/25/2026

I have been dreading this day and this post for a few years now. I knew it was coming but I didn’t know it would be today that I would have to say my last goodbyes to my sweet boy Nucky.

He fought a good fight since having been diagnosed with MCT about four years ago. Eventually his little body couldn’t fight any longer.

He was such an amazing dog!! He knew and met so many dogs that came through the house and got along with all of them. He was chill, sweet, kind, gentle and didn’t have a mean bone in his body. He was loved by everyone he met and I thank you all for loving him as I always did (and always will). Up until he couldn’t anymore, he enjoyed showing off his obedience skills and all of his tricks too.

You will be immensely missed bubba, but never forgotten. It will be different around the house with you not in it, but you will always be with us in spirit and in our hearts. I’m just glad you don’t have to suffer anymore with all of that sh*tty ass cancer in your body!! You’re at peace now and know that I will always love you!!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY NUCKY!!

My boy turned 12 today! I know he looks possessed in the pics 😂 but he’s still kicking. This little dude has been through a lot the last couple of years and has been a trooper the whole time. Through being diagnosed with skin cancer, having a couple of masses removed, many teeth removed at the same time, becoming hearing impaired, cataracts and getting drops and ointment in his right eye for his third corneal ulcer.

I’m not sure how much longer I’ll have him for and it’s crazy to see him go from having so much energy and doing his tricks to now sleeping most of the day. He’s been the bestest dog and I’ve cherished every moment with him.

Not only is Echo a good looking dog but he has a funny personality. I really need to get a Basset Hound.
