Short term foster only to save these pups

🚨 URGENT: SHORT-TERM FOSTERS NEEDED 🚨
These 3 sweet pups are already spayed, vetted, and scheduled to leave the shelter — but they urgently need temporary fosters to help save their lives. Even a few days or weeks can make a huge difference while permanent plans are arranged.

🐾 Jenni — approx. 20–25 lbs
🐾 Jackie — approx. 20–25 lbs
🐾 Tulip — approx. 35 lbs

All are looking for safe, loving temporary homes. Supplies and support can be coordinated — they just need a place to land.

C.A.R.E. for Dogs stands for Compassion. Advocates. Resources. Education. — and our mission is to help bridge the gaps for dogs in need throughout San Antonio and surrounding areas. From networking homeless and abandoned dogs, to promoting low-cost spay/neuter services, education, advocacy, and community outreach, we are working every day to make a difference for dogs in our city.

But we can’t do it alone.

We need VOLUNTEERS because strength is in numbers. The more people who get involved, the more dogs we can help, the more awareness we can spread, and the bigger impact we can make together. 🐾 FOUND DOG – PLEASE SHARE 🐾
This sweet male dog was found in the Meadows of Carriage Hills area in San Antonio on 5/20/2026.

📍 Found & currently being held in: The Meadows of Carriage Hills

🐶 Details:
• Male
• Not neutered
• Approximately 1 year old
• Around 20 lbs
• White & brown
• Possible Beagle / Jack Russell mix

This friendly pup walked right up to the finder. After checking online, others had reportedly seen him nearby but had not taken him in.

He was taken to the vet and scanned for a microchip. The vet attempted to contact the owner, but there has been no response for over a week.
