🚨🐶🐕DOG RESCUE UPDATE! We caught up with “Roadie,” who was injured on Hwy. 281 and rescued on live TV📺 Dr. Austin Coull at Thrive Pet Healthcare Broadway spotted him and helped treat Roadie on the spot and get him to safety. 🐾❤️ A Story We're So Happy to Be a Part Of! ❤️🐾

Earlier this week, our own Dr. Austin Coull went above and beyond when he stopped to help an injured dog found along Highway 281. Thanks to the quick actions of first responders and an incredible team effort, this sweet boy; now lovingly nicknamed "Roadie"; is on the road to recovery.

We are so grateful to for our wonder Dr. Coull and from Covenant Care Animal Hospital Dr. Nathan Earl for stepping up to provide the medical care Roadie needed. Because of their compassion and dedication, Roadie has already started walking again and has a very promising prognosis.

Roadie is currently being cared for by some wonderful people while he continues his rehabilitation, but we're still hoping to reunite him with his family. If you recognize him or know who he belongs to, please reach out to us or share this post!

We're incredibly proud of our team and honored to be part of a profession that is always ready to answer the call when an animal is in need. 💙🐶

Thank you to everyone involved; from the first responders to the veterinary teams, for giving Roadie a second chance.

As temperature rise, remember to keep your furry friends safe by providing plenty of water, avoiding hot pavement, limiting exercise during peak heat and never leaving pets in the car- even for a minute. Watch for signs of heatstroke and contact your veterinarian immediately if you're concerned. Stay cool and safe this summer!!
