Check out Cliff’s transformation after just three weeks of on and off leash training. This video demonstrates how training can help reactive dogs with little impulse control.

When he first came to us, he was overly excited, lacked impulse control, and struggled with reactivity around other dogs. Walks were especially challenging for his owners, particularly in distracting environments.

Even though Cliff seemed like your typical happy go lucky lab, there was underlying anxiety. Teaching him slow down and learn to operate in a calm state of mind was important.

Once Cliff built a solid training foundation, we brought his owners into the process because training the human is just as important as training the dog.

Spotlight on Wyatt!

This spunky and fun loving pup needs some help building confidence and reactivity towards people but under that tough exterior is a dog that’s afraid and unsure of the world.

He is training with Jason for our four week board and train program to help with socialization, environmental training, obedience, and building confidence.

Tatum, our first tripod of the year, just finished up a 4 week board and train!

He came to us with dog reactivity, needing to also strengthen his obedience and build his confidence.

He has made wonderful progress and we love receiving photos of how his owners are implementing training at home!

Ellie recently completed our three week board and train with trainer Kae.

Some clients come to us for training and end up leaving paw prints on our hearts and become apart of the AAK9 family 🐾💕

We’re celebrating a very special graduate..both human and pup! 🎓 This incredible person has officially become a dentist, and we couldn’t be more proud of everything she’s accomplished. From early mornings and long study nights and staying committed to her goals, she’s truly earned this moment.

And of course, no celebration would be complete without her loyal sidekick by her side ✨MAGIC MAN ✨rocking a graduation cap like the goodest scholar we’ve ever seen. 🐶🎓 Because behind every hardworking human is a dog who believed in them the whole time (and probably demanded a few well timed study breaks).

Watching our friends grow both in life and alongside their dogs is one of the greatest joys of what we do. This moment is so much bigger than training: it’s about partnership, dedication, and unconditional love.
