Many of you have heard about our directors husband, Jim, being hospitalized after an accident. While refusing to leave the hospital even at night and sleeping on the floor of the waiting room, Sue developed a respiratory illness. On March 4th, she went to the emergency room and was admitted to the ICU of the hospital. They were unable to get her lungs cleared and healed. They transferred her to a bigger hospital with more capabilities. She is doing better but not well enough to breathe without some kind of assistance so they have been running tests. She is currently still in the ICU while they run more tests and work on her breathing. Those of us who can are still trying to care for the animals and cover food, meds, and vaccination costs. We haven’t been able to work apps and get pics much and such but we are trying. We could really use some donations, monetary or food, and anything else that would help. Please help if you can. Jim and Sue are really struggling to get through all of this and are not even able to be at the same hospital right now. I would love to be able to show them how much people care and how much they have touched others with their efforts. Please keep them in your thoughts. Thank you for reading, sharing, and donating.

Meet Clifford he is a vizsla, labradoodle mix. He is about 3 1/2 months old and is the bestest good boy! He is great with other dogs, cats and kids! He is the smartest boy and loves to give kisses! Hello rescue family. I have some very difficult news to share. Jim, our amazing rescue transport driver of many years and the husband to our director, Sue, was in a horrific motorcycle accident a couple of days ago. He has severe head trauma, broken ribs, a broken nose, and broken facial bones. Part of his skull had to be removed to relieve intracranial pressure. He is currently in the ICU of a major trauma center fighting for his life. Sue has asked me to let all of you know and to request prayers from anyone willing to do so.

We are all extremely devastated and would appreciate any prayers, thoughts, or well wishes that anyone could send our way.

We have been in rescue for so many years now and it has truly been amazing and life changing for so many of us.

Unfortunately, several months ago, we had multiple fosters/volunteers end up having medical and personal issues. We have been really stretched thin but are committed to the animals we have rescued.

We have taken in some mama dogs and babies who will be ready for adoption soon. We also have many that are still in need of homes. We have many that are still available for adoption.

The rising cost of pretty much everything has really taken a huge toll on the rescue and the volunteers. Most of the time, our volunteers have to use their own funds to cover costs and are happy to do so, but it gets really difficult sometimes. We love our foster babies and want the very best for them but often can’t afford it. So we do the best we can until we find their forever families. Our adopters, donors, and rescue friends are truly wonderful and really make a difference in our lives and the lives of our rescues.

We took on this responsibility and are committed to it so this post is not to guilt or push anyone into helping. We simply want to thank everyone who has helped and to ask for continued support and help, when anyone can.

***Please help if you can as we are not publicly funded and do not even have much in adoption fees anymore. Everything is out of our own pockets now.***

Hi all! Tess k9 is for the most part closed for any intakes, so we are no longer actively taking dogs in, but we still have lots of pups in this rescue that still need medical attention and food. We need help with feeding and continuing to care for all these pups until they eventually find their forever homes. I will list some links below if you can help that would be extremely appreciated!
