Please spread the word so we can reunite this found dog with its family! FOUND on May 12, 2026 in San Antonio, TX 78207 near By Bibliotech West
Message from Finder: "He is a very good dog. He is great with children. He’s good with other dogs. However, I live in a small two bedroom apmt and I already have two big dogs of my own. If I could, I would keep him. He has given me no reason not to. It is simply for the fact of where I live. He did have some injuries to his paws (all 4 seemed to have road rash or some time of cement burns) but they seem to be healing on their own. My fear is that he was dumped. I first noticed him because he came charging at me and admittedly I was scared at first because he is a large dog. He’s very big and he looks almost like a wolf, but he is just a pup. He just ran towards me out of everyone else and I guess he just knew I was a safe person.
I gave him water and fed him outside first but I could hear him howl. It was so saddening to hear. I don’t know if it was in sadness or in pain, but it was almost as if he was looking for someone that wasn’t coming back. When I went back out to check him again that’s when I saw him almost get hit by multiple cars so I knew couldn’t leave him out there anymore. He had no understanding of traffic and my fear was if I left him out there that something would happen. He is in my home as of right now. He just needs a fur-ever home. "
