As a veterinary technician, my day is built on the quiet details—holding a patient during an exam, monitoring vital signs under anesthesia, or noticing the subtle shift when a patient isn't feeling quite right. Catching those small changes early can make all the difference.

To me, this profession is rooted in trust. Pet owners hand us the animals they love most, often on their hardest days. I take immense pride in being a calming presence, handling every patient with gentle care, and standing alongside our doctors as a reliable team member.

Growing with the team at Lili Veterinary Hospital has been incredibly rewarding. Every single patient teaches me something new, and I’m honored to advocate for them every day."

Today, we’re taking a moment to celebrate Jody and the heart he brings to veterinary care every single day.

Being a veterinary technician is more than a job for Jody; it’s a passion rooted in a deep love for animals. Every day, he's on the front lines monitoring vitals, comforting scared patients, assisting in surgery, and providing top-tier care with gentle hands and a calm heart.

But if you ask Jody what inspires his devotion to his patients, he’ll point to his own shadow: Peaky Blinders.

Peaky Blinders isn't just Jody’s dog; he’s his best friend, his post-shift study partner, and his daily reminder of why this work matters. Whether Jody is returning home after a long, intense shift in the clinic or spending late nights reading up on critical care, Peaky Blinders is right there by his side; chin resting on his knee, offering unconditional love.

When Jody treats your pets, he cares for them with the exact same tenderness, patience, and dedication he gives Peaky Blinders at home.
Thank you, Jody, for your dedication, expertise, and endless passion for animal care. We are so lucky to have Jody apart of our medical support staff.

Being a veterinary technician is more than a job; it’s a passion fueled by love, compassion, and a special bond with animals.

I’ve always had a special place in my heart for dogs, especially Chihuahuas and other small breeds. They may be tiny, but they have the biggest personalities and the most incredible ways of stealing our hearts!

Meet Pánfilo, my little adventure buddy! From dressing him up in cute outfits to enjoying our walks and making memories together, every moment reminds me why I love what I do. He’s not just my companion; he’s a daily reminder of the joy, unconditional love, and happiness that animals bring into our lives.

I’m proud to be a Veterinary Technician, caring for my patients with love, advocating for their well-being, and celebrating the beautiful connection we share with them. Every tail wag, every little paw, and every life we touch makes it all worthwhile.

Small paws, big love, and a heart devoted to animals!
