Hi, I’m Alex! Let me start off by saying that I was one of those kids who would go outside to play and end up coming back with a stray dog or cat! Needless to say, my love for animals has been deeply embedded in my heart since I was a child and not much has changed since! Except that I now have more experience with pets of all ages and a wide variety of animals. So on top of caring for dogs and cats, I’ve also cared for ducks, chickens, rabbits, horses, as well as a few reptiles. I’ve worked at a couple of vets as a kennel tech so I have some basic medical experience, training, and knowledge. I’ve also fostered with the Humane Society and have had several successful stories! I am a stay at home fur mom with my own reliable transportation and open availability which will allow me to provide lots of love, play, attention, including any other care instructions/preferences you may have.
Safety is of the utmost importance to me and I want your pet(s) to be as comfortable with me as they are with you! So providing me with as much information about feeding and daily schedules, behavioral tendencies, how collars/harnesses (since some work in certain ways) work if walks are to be provided, and if medications are to be administered, is absolutely essential in order for me to provide the best care and experience 🙂
Meet & greets are an absolute MUST before a booking is made. We each have to be comfortable with the other and your pet(s) will be the ones to mainly decide that. I will also probably annoy you with how many questions I ask, but rest assured, it’s all for safety purposes and will allow me to determine if I’m the right fit.
