As much as we love sharing with our furry companions, some foods that are perfectly safe for us can be toxic for them.

In recognition of National Animal Poison Prevention Week, here are a few foods pets should never eat:

🚫 Chocolate
🚫 Grapes & raisins
🚫 Onions & garlic
🚫 Xylitol (a sweetener found in gum and peanut butter)
🚫 Alcohol

Even small amounts can sometimes cause serious illness depending on the pet and the toxin involved. When in doubt, it’s always best to keep human foods separate from your pet’s treats.
