These are the moments that truly matter. The ones that may seem small, but leave a lasting impression on the pets and people they care for.

Our veterinary technicians bring so much heart to what they do. Their compassion, dedication, and passion for pets make our hospitals better places to work and our communities better places to live.

Our mission is to strengthen the communities we serve by delivering personalized care. That mission lives and breathes because of our people: the doctors, technicians, practice managers, client service teams, and Support Center teams who show up every single day for pets and the families who love them.

This week, we're doing something new. We're launching our very first AmeriVet Team Member Appreciation Week!

For five days, we're stepping back to recognize what our teams bring to this work all year long: the care they give to pets, the trust they build with families, and the difference they make in the communities around every one of our hospitals.

We celebrate our people in a lot of ways, all year round. This week simply adds one more way for us to say thank you, out loud, to everyone who makes AmeriVet what it is!

The veterinary industry talks a lot about growth. We think the more important question is: growth toward what?

As an industry, we should be working toward one outcome above all: helping more pets receive the care they need and deserve.

For the veterinary professionals who dedicate their careers to that work, growth should create more opportunities for them to care for pets. More pet owners walking through hospital doors. Stronger relationships with clients. Healthier hospitals with the resources to serve their communities well.

That’s why growth at AmeriVet starts with the client experience.

It means understanding the full pet owner journey: how clients find care, how easy it is to schedule, what helps them follow through on their pet’s needs, and what builds a relationship that keeps them coming back. It means removing friction, strengthening engagement and helping our hospitals connect with more pet owners in meaningful ways.

Our Chief Growth Officer, Jackie Laird, leads that strategy across AmeriVet, bringing growth, marketing and client experience together around a shared purpose: to help hospitals reach more pet owners so their teams can care for more pets and make a greater impact in their communities.

Veterinary medicine asks a lot of doctors. Caring for patients, guiding teams, building trust with clients and being there for families through some of life’s hardest moments all happen in the same place: the local practice.

The DVM Excellence Award recognizes doctors who make a lasting difference in that work and in the communities they serve. What makes this even more meaningful is that these doctors are nominated by their leaders, their peers, their colleagues, and their teams.

Bowdon Animal Hospital knows how to show hometown pride. 🎉

The team celebrated Founder’s Day weekend in Bowdon, Georgia, welcoming clients into the hospital for Client Appreciation Day before joining the community for Founder’s Day. It was a weekend centered on the families who trust them with their pets and the hometown they are proud to serve. 🐾

Across the AmeriVet network, our hospitals are locally led by teams who know their communities and take pride in being part of them. Those relationships are part of what makes our hospitals special for the doctors who join them, the teams who grow there, and the communities who count on them.

When the Copper Basin community needed a hand, neighbors came together to help.

Following recent flooding, people across the area stepped up to support families affected by the damage. The team at Copper Basin Veterinary Clinic (CBVC) was among them, seeing a need and jumping in with water, food, canned goods and other essentials for neighbors in need.

We’re grateful to the CBVC team for stepping up so quickly, lending a helping hand, and caring for their community when it needed them most. It’s a great example of what it means to bring our mission to life as a local veterinary team: caring for people and pets, and helping strengthen the community around them.
