Hello April! 👋🏼

As we have shared before, this boy loves his dogs and that love is continuing to grow! So much so that he wants them to be included in all of his shenanigans and ends up covering their entire dog bed with his toys-as pictured below! 🙃

The adventures of five dogs and a baby are going strong. Baby boy has the routine down and is ready to lead the pack. He takes them outside to potty. Plays with their toys. Shares his toys too. Helps prep their food. Collects their bowls. Puts the bowls in the sink. And even tells them to shhhh if they are barking too loud! All with supervision of course. 😅
And it truly makes my heart happy that he loves his dogs so much, just like his mama! It’s the little things in life! ♥️

With that being said, we’ll be thriving in our little dog bubble over here, but tell your dog we said hi, we miss them, and we hope their April is dog-gone amazing! 🫶🏼

They say time flies when you’re having fun and that’s exactly what the month of February was for us…
Baby boy turned 2! 🥲
One of our pack members turned 9! 🥳
And the adventures of five dogs and a baby kept us on the go. From playing together inside. To playing together outside. To being the best feeding assistant and bowl picker upper. And whenever we leave the house he makes sure to tell his four-legged siblings “bye-bye” everytime! 😅

If you were wondering how the start of February is going for us, it involves lots of snacking. And most of that snacking occurs while moving about. Which means the 5 little dogs are also getting lots of snacks. 🤦🏻‍♀️

Some people say food is love. And baby boy is definitely living by that motto when it comes to sharing food, both intentional and accidental, with his four-legged siblings! 😂

Whose training who, is still to be determined!? 🙃

We may be over a week late to the pawty, but hello January 2026! 👋🏼

As we have mentioned through our last few monthly pupdates, some of our senior pack members have been battling a few health hiccups. And it is with an extremely heavy heart that I share that our OG-Bodhi-passed away on December 9th, 2025. 💔

If you have followed my page for a while, then you have definitely seen Bodhi’s face, for he was truly the mascot of HPP. I used him for marketing all the time due to his extreme photogenic persona. Additionally, his laid back go with the flow personality made him the best training companion to assist me with some of the more spicy dogs that I worked with. 🐾

In being apart of the animal training world for a number of years, I am no stranger to losing an animal. However, this one has been tough for me. Bodhi was my first dog as an adult. He was the first dog that my husband and I acquired together. He was my best friend. My constant companion. My shadow. My soul dog. And I miss him dearly. 🥹

As we embrace the start to this New Year, I am reflecting back on what a blessing Bodhi was to my family as we continue to work on overcoming his absence. Our house has felt empty without him and baby boy still calls out his name every day. They were besties. And although I am heartbroken that their time together ended too soon, I am so happy that Bodhi made such an impact on him that he still talks to him! And I hope he continues to because Bodhi was special and I want his memory to live on! ♥️

With that being said, our adventures of six dogs and a baby has now sadly become the adventures of five dogs and a baby, but we will continue to bring you along for the ride! 🐕

Thank you for being a part of the HPP family and we hope all of our two and four-legged FURiends are having a fantastic start to a Happy New Year! 🥳

Why hello there December! 👋🏼

Looks like November flew right on by without a pupdate from us. Whoopsie on our part. Life has been busy! 🙃

As we shared at the beginning of October, two of our senior four-legged pack members were having a few health hiccups and then another decided to jump on the bandwagon. They say it comes in three’s! 😬
And although two of the pups are stable, we are still working to manage the leader of our pack and have plans to see an internist to hopefully provide some insight on the best treatment plan moving forward. 🙏🏼

With that and the holiday season upon us, the adventures of six dogs and a baby are definitely keeping me on my toes. However, I am so thankful for my two and four-legged pack! Baby boy is really coming into his personality and is an absolute joy to watch each day! He has perfected saying “Bodhi” now, which makes my heart so happy! 🥹
In fact, Bodhi is the first one he looks for in the mornings and once he is found he is greeted with hugs and pats. Sometimes the pats are a little hard depending on the excitement level, but Bodhi is very patient and truly the BEST big brother! ❤️

Happy belated Thanksgiving to all! We hope your turkey day was filled with great food, company and gratitude. 🧡

Hello October!! 👋🏼

September ended up being quite a busy month for us, as two of our senior four-legged pack members developed some health concerns that required a few veterinary visits to aide in pinpointing what was going on, so we could get the necessary medication on board. 🐕

Nonetheless, the adventures of six dogs and a baby are going strong, for baby boy is on the go nonstop and whatever he is doing, you can bet there is always a dog right by his side. They are his supervisors! And he enjoys returning that favor and supervises them eating their dinner every night! 😂
