Welcome to WinterWishes Cattery, a small Ragdoll cattery located in the San Antonio, Texas area. Our goal is to raise beautiful, healthy, well-socialized Ragdoll kittens that are prepared to become loving members of their new families.
Our kittens are raised with hands-on care and attention to their health, temperament, development, and socialization. We want our families to receive much more than a beautiful kitten—we want them to feel confident knowing their new companion has been thoughtfully cared for from the very beginning.
🩵 Health Is a Priority
We take the health of our cats and kittens seriously. Both parents of our litters undergo genetic testing for conditions associated with the Ragdoll breed, including HCM (Hypertrophic Cardiomyopathy) and PKD (Polycystic Kidney Disease).
We maintain health and veterinary records for our kittens and provide those records to their new families.
Our kittens receive veterinary care through China Grove Veterinary Clinic.
🐾 What Your Kitten Receives Before Going Home
Our kittens receive age-appropriate preventative and veterinary care before leaving WinterWishes Cattery.
Depending on the kitten's age at the time of placement, this includes:
✓ Age-appropriate core kitten vaccinations
✓ Rabies vaccination when age appropriate
✓ Routine deworming
✓ Preventative protozoan protocol
✓ Nail trim before going home
✓ Veterinary/health records
✓ TICA registration paperwork, as applicable
✓ Written purchase contract
✓ Genetic Health Guarantee
✓ Lifetime HCM guarantee according to the terms of our contract
✓ Genetic testing of both parents
✓ Kitten-care and transition information
🐱 Raised to Be Family
Temperament matters just as much to us as appearance.
Our kittens receive regular human interaction and are raised with the intention of helping them become affectionate, confident family companions.
We work to make the transition from our home to yours as smooth as possible. Families receive information about their kitten's current food, routine, veterinary care, and other important details so they aren't left guessing once their kitten arrives home.
🧬 Our Ragdolls
We love the qualities that make Ragdolls such a special breed—their beautiful blue eyes, soft coats, affectionate personalities, and strong bonds with their families.
Our breeding program includes beautiful Ragdoll colors and patterns, including pointed, lynx, and mitted kittens.
Our cats and kittens are TICA registered/eligible as applicable, and registration information is handled as part of our placement process.
💰 Kitten Pricing
Our Ragdoll kittens are generally:
$1,400
Unless a different price is specifically listed for an individual kitten.
Our standard reservation arrangement is:
$400 deposit to reserve your kitten
$1,000 remaining balance due at pickup or before arranged transportation
The kitten's price includes the applicable health care, preventative care, records, registration documentation, genetic health guarantee, and other items described above.
Occasionally, an older kitten or a kitten we are trying to place sooner may be offered at a reduced price. Any reduced price will be clearly stated in the kitten's individual listing.
All reservations and payments are subject to our written purchase contract.
📱 Meet & Greet Policy
For the safety, health, and privacy of our cats, kittens, family, and home, WinterWishes Cattery will no longer offer in-person meet and greets at our residence.
We understand how important it is to see and interact with a kitten before making a decision, so we are happy to provide other options.
Prospective families may request:
✓ Google Meet video calls
✓ Current photos of available kittens
✓ Current videos of available kittens
✓ Additional photos or videos when reasonably requested
A Google Meet gives prospective families an opportunity to see the kitten in real time, ask questions, and get a better look at the kitten's appearance and personality without requiring an in-home visit.
We are happy to provide transparency while also maintaining a safe and controlled environment for our cats and kittens.
🤝 Kitten Pickup
Unless we are personally delivering your kitten, all local kitten pickups will take place at an agreed-upon public location.
We will no longer conduct routine kitten pickups from our residence.
The pickup location and time will be arranged with the buyer before the kitten's scheduled go-home date.
Please arrive prepared with an appropriate and secure cat carrier so your new kitten can travel home safely.
🚗 Personal Delivery
For families who prefer not to meet for pickup, personal ground delivery may be available for an additional fee.
Delivery pricing is based on distance, total travel time, fuel, and other travel expenses. The delivery fee is separate from the kitten's purchase price and will be agreed upon before the trip is scheduled.
Long-distance ground delivery may be considered on a case-by-case basis.
When personal delivery has been arranged, we will bring the kitten to the location agreed upon with the buyer.
✈️ Pet-Nanny Transportation
For families who live farther away, we can help arrange transportation using a professional pet nanny through PetJetPals.
We prefer pet-nanny transportation because the kitten is accompanied during the journey rather than simply being sent alone as cargo.
The pet nanny assists with safely transporting your kitten from us to you and caring for the kitten throughout the trip.
Pet-nanny transportation is not included in the $1,400 kitten price.
The buyer is responsible for the pet-nanny transportation fee and any additional expenses required for the trip. The exact cost depends on the destination, available flights, transportation arrangements, and any required veterinary or travel documentation.
All transportation arrangements must be confirmed before the kitten leaves WinterWishes Cattery.
The health, safety, and comfort of our kittens always come first.
🏡 Choosing the Right Homes
Finding the right home is extremely important to us.
Every kitten is placed under a written contract so that WinterWishes Cattery and the new family clearly understand the health guarantee, payment arrangements, transportation arrangements, and responsibilities involved in bringing home one of our kittens.
We welcome questions about our breeding cats, genetic testing, vaccinations, veterinary records, TICA registration, kitten care, contract, delivery, pickup, or pet-nanny transportation.
We believe responsible breeding also means being transparent with the families who trust us with such an important decision.
Our responsibility doesn't simply end when a kitten leaves our home. We want our families to have the information and resources they need to give their Ragdoll a wonderful life.
