Stormy Weather Feline Fosters

01/13/2026

I dropped off 10 fosters at PetSmart last night and spent a good while disassociating in my car after. Cow came to remind me that he could use dinner, thanks.

All day every day relatable Flannel content

Yep, this is Flannel's personality !

When you're a good boy but a little hangry and overstimulated... You just gotta take a little bite out of the hand that feeds.

Walter McFluffy is still available for adoption and a super sweet old man with little nubbly teeth. No fingers were harmed filming this interaction.

On Saturday November 8th the transference was finished. I don't know much about spirituality, metaphysics or anything else but there is a part of me that is sure that Blackie saw Flannel struggling to live and did something.

It was only when Blackie began a dramatic decline that Flannel perked up and began to recover from his own steep decline. After Blackie crossed the bridge Saturday, Flannel finally had a fat kitten belly again after two weeks of being skin and bones.

Tonight I will be planting catnip in a raised bed in memory of Blackie, a truly wonderful cat who I will miss.

The house continues to be plunged in chaos. At least there's still Bagel's face.

Foster kitten Vasya presented with concerning neuro symptoms last night.

Retired colony cat Blackie had labs done last week with decreased organ function evident and has dramatically declined this week. We may be saying "see you later" at the bridge tomorrow.

A Bagel

10/24/2025

Sometimes I think about just posting photos and videos of Bagel Bite. Maybe it's the SSRI speaking but whenever I see him, and he looks at me, and especially if I squish his face and rub his nose and he gets all happy... I feel for a moment like everything is good.

Bagel Bite is a developmentally delayed adult cat that I've had since he was a baby, and though he is a foster he is also my world. I adore this boy in every possible way. We've come so far together, and though he's having a bit of a regression with his litter box habits (he only learned them this year), I'm so proud of him ❤️
