“Chunky Boy”

This sweet boy is such a unique little soul. 🥹🐷

Born as an “only child,” he’s never had to fight for anything in his life—which, as it turns out, has made him extra chill and majorly a lap pig. 😂💗

No sibling competition. No fighting for the best spot. Just vibes, snuggles, and the firm belief that your lap belongs to him.

When we understand that, their behavior starts to make a lot more sense.

The hesitation.
The backing away.
The sudden startle.
The reluctance to be touched.
Even the pig who seems like they’re “ignoring” you.

They’re gathering information.

And when your pig begins to experience you—and their environment—as safe and predictable, they don’t have to spend quite so much energy watching for what might happen next.

That’s when curiosity has room to grow.

And curiosity is often where connection begins. 🐷💛

🐷 Floor Time — gets you down on their level and gives them the freedom to approach you on their own terms.

🐷 A backscratcher — lets you introduce touch from a comfortable distance without immediately reaching into their space.

They simply create opportunities for your pig to gather evidence:
