We sincerely appreciate the opportunity to provide your pet with the best veterinary medical care. Dr. John Morris is a Tupelo native with deep roots originating in Saltillo. He earned his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from the Mississippi State University College of Veterinary Medicine in 1998. He has a professional interest in avian and exotic medicine. He has quite a collection of dogs, cats, f

errets and birds. Dr. Charlie T. Tucker is originally from Tupelo and worked several years at Saltillo Small Animal Hospital before attending college. After receiving his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from Mississippi Sate University in 2012, our hospital was extremely fortunate to receive him back again. Dr. Tucker enjoys all aspects of veterinary medicine; however, he has a special interest in challenging internal medicine cases along with emergency and critical care cases. In his free time, Dr. Tucker enjoys fly fishing, fly tying, attending concerts and spending time with his two weimaraners, Mick and Penelope. Working with our doctors is a professionally trained staff of veterinary technicians, kennel technicians, and receptionists who offer a full array of services, including health examinations, laboratory testing, radiology )x-ray and ultrasound), surgery, dentistry, boarding adn grooming. Our staff believes that the health care your pets receive throughout their lifetimes can minimize and prevent disease. Proper care includes regular check ups, vaccinations, parasite control, dental examinations, exercise, and diets that meet your pets' changing nutritional needs. We look forward to you visiting us. I’M LOOKING FOR MY HOME! ‼️‼️‼️

This sweet hedgehog was found outside of a good samaritans home earlier this week. Obviously, we know this cutie is not wildlife so they must have a home!

If you are missing your hedgehog, please call us during business hours only*! 662-869-7301

We will NOT give them to anybody without proof of ownership! They couldn’t have traveled far, so if you are missing one, tell us where you live and their gender to prove this is your spiky friend!

We are hiring! 📣📣📣📣

🐾We are hiring a PART TIME kennel employee! We are looking for somebody who fits the criteria of:

•Must be reliable and punctual
•Comfortable working with animals
•Able to lift 40+ lbs
•Weekend availability and some holidays is a must
•Experience preferred but not required
•Willing to take drug test
•Hours will vary between 10-30 hours depending on the week
•Schedules are made a month in advance!

Job includes:

•Feeding and caring for dogs, cats, and other species
•Cleaning kennels and work areas
•Walking dogs and monitoring animals
•Laundry and general cleaning
•Assisting veterinary staff when needed
