He’s 8 years old, and for 90+ days he’s watched people walk past his kennel without a single person stopping to ask about him.
Not one.
Rocco isn’t a puppy anymore. His face is a little grayer, and yes, he has some arthritis. But he still happily gets around at a little bit of a slower pace, especially if there’s a soft bed waiting for him, a cozy couch to curl up on, or a patch of warm grass where he can roll around in the sunshine like the happiest dog in the world.
He loves treats. He loves affection. He loves car rides, short little walks, and quiet moments beside the people he trusts. More than anything, Rocco just wants to be loved again.
After 90 days in a shelter, this sweet senior boy is still waiting for someone to see him.
No senior dog should spend their days alone in a kennel wondering why nobody chose them.
Rocco doesn’t need perfect. He doesn’t need endless adventures. He just needs a home. A person. A soft place to land for the rest of his life.

This handsome 2 year old mini boy is a pro at snuggling, playing, earning ear scratches, and sleeping through the night. He is potty trained and crate trained. He is still working on basic commands but will give you undivided attention if there's a salmon treat on the line! He has been improving his walking etiquette on leash.

He is a social butterfly who plays well with every dog he's met while in foster care. He is a true gentleman in social settings, including trips to Home Depot and visiting local breweries. He's the cutest and he knows it - he'll be getting compliments on every walk!

He is ready for a forever home that loves walks, social outings, and a snuggling.
