Wasatch Hunting Retriever Club The WHRC is a nonprofit AKC club composed of volunteers interested in training and testing retrievers for waterfowl hunting.

If you are interested in hunting with a well trained retriever, we can help. Our non-profit club is made up of both professional and amateur trainers who hunt their dogs and enjoy training and competing their dogs in American Kennel Club (AKC) hunt tests. We sponsor dog training seminars, conduct both informal and AKC licensed Hunt Tests and provide opportunities to keep you and your hunting dog active throughout the year. If you would like to join our club, simply show up at one of our events, fill out the application, and pay the annual dues. Our field events are held at the Lee Kay Dog Training Grounds Center at about 2100 South 6000 West, Salt Lake City.

It's that time of year again where we take our show on the road. Great times at the Youth outdoor and waterfowl festival. 95 poppers used and Fowl retrieved. Thank you, Lacey, for all the fun photos.

Great seminar, well worth the little vacation drive.

That's a wrap on our 2026 Memorial weekend hunt test weekend. What a great time, and memories made. Cuda and I both thank everyone involved. Between the judges, Bird techs, and the entire amazing Wasatch crew. You rocked it. Thanks again.
