Week one. Eyes closed. World unknown.
But a mom who never lets them cry for food, who stays calm and present - she’s laying the brain chemistry that follows this puppy for life.
The work starts before they even open their eyes.

The socialization window opens at 3 weeks old.

Most breeders don’t even think about it until 8 weeks — when your puppy is already at your house.

By then? Some windows are already closed. Forever.

Meanwhile you’re just trying to survive potty training.

This is why our puppies come with a massive head start. We’re not just keeping them alive until pickup day. We’re building the foundation of who your dog is going to be.

🙃 Most puppies come home having seen… a living room.

Ours have heard vacuums, met strangers, felt different textures under their paws, worn a collar, gone shopping, ridden in a car lots — all before 8 weeks.

The critical socialization window opens at 3 weeks and starts closing at 12. By the time you’re home and overwhelmed with potty training, a huge chunk of it is already gone.

That’s why we start on day one. So you get a confident, adaptable dog — not a project.

Thank you for giving them the very best lives.

For sharing your beds even when they somehow take up the entire thing.
For sneaking treats when no one’s looking.
For talking to them in that voice.
For bringing them everywhere with you.
For celebrating birthdays, buying way too many toys, and filling your camera rolls with thousands of puppy photos.

Thank you for the patience, the training, the routines, the adventures, the cuddles, and all the little everyday moments that make a dog feel safe and loved.

Watching our puppies become such cherished members of your families is one of the greatest gifts of what we do.

The early weeks of a puppy’s life are when the brain is making connections FAST. New textures, sounds, surfaces, problem-solving, little challenges, recovery, confidence-building… it all matters.

Not because we’re trying to create “perfect” puppies —
but because foundations matter. 🐾

The more positive, thoughtful exposure a puppy has early on, the more adaptable and resilient they can become later in life.

That’s the part most people never see behind the scenes. ✨
