Would you agree that Tanner Park is the most popular dog park?! If so, it's for good reason!

This is a great spot that feels more like a hike than a park. And the creek access is a bonus for water loving pups!

Here's what you need to know before visiting:

📍 Put Parleys Historic Nature Preserve into your GPS to get the right spot
🅿️ There is a small parking lot and nearby street parking.
🐾 This park is off leash! Please leash your pup in the parking lot.
🌳 Park is *mostly* fenced, but does have some escape points and is BIG. Solid recall recommended (like always).
🥾 Trail is approximately 1.5 miles out and back. Relatively flat except the initial hill down into the canyon.
❄️ In winter bring micro spikes for the icy hill and be prepared to pack dog waste out- trash cans are not serviced in winter.
🌷 In spring the winter runoff can create VERY dangerous water conditions. Use caution when letting your dog swim.

It's salmon season in Utah! And Jordanelle State Park's Rock Cliff Recreation Area is a wonderful and safe spot to see them with your dog in tow. Here's what you need to know:

🚗 $20 fee per car (or UT State Parks Pass)
🐕‍🦺 Dogs on 6ft leash ALWAYS
🗺️ Put Rock Cliff Nature Center in your GPS to get to the right spot
🎣 The rangers will give you a map showing you where to find the salmon!

Sooo happy that The Rose Establishment is officially approved to allow dogs on their patio! 🌹🐾

This patio has only a handful of outdoor tables: maybe 6-8 (sorry, I didn't count!). All tables are first come, first served so if you see one, grab it before heading in to order!

Also you need to order the biscuit and jam. Just trust me on that. 😋

There's no better place to spend your weekend than at Dogtoberfest at Snowbasin Resort!

You have two ticket options:
🎟️ $10 event only (no gondola)
🚡 $25 gondola foot ticket, which includes the event. (Use code DOGFRIENDLYSLC to get $10 off your gondola ticket!)

🗓️ The event runs Friday, Saturday, and Sunday (Sept 5-7) from noon to 6pm.

🐶 The first 50 dogs each day will receive a FREE Snowbasin bandana.
