we are able to offer not just food and shelter, but also medical treatment, enrichment, and the love every animal deserves while they wait for their new beginning. Each donation, no matter the size, helps transform lives—from a frightened stray finding comfort for the first time, to a long-overlooked senior dog finally heading to their furever home. We are also working toward building a new facility—one that will provide more space, modern resources, and the tools we need to save even more homeless pets in our community. We are looking for volunteers (aged 18+) to help with our Quarter Auction this Saturday, June 13th, from 4:45 PM – 10:00 PM.

We need helping hands for:

Thank you to everyone that helped with the situation of the cat being dropped off at night to our shelter and donations being gone through. After meeting with all parties involved, Jasmine was not involved in the cat being dropped off, but she did think that because donations were made to us that they were free for her to help herself. Alyssa put the cat at the front door, but was doing so to help another party out. We will not have to worry about either party entering our property again, and hopefully there were some lessons learned with this one.

Again, if you have an injured or sick animal DO NOT leave it at the Humane Society during closed hours. Please see us during our open hours, or take the animal to an emergency vet.

It’s Kitten Season. 😺 Take a peek inside the room we have transformed into our Kitten Nursery for the many little ones currently in our care. Some of these babies aren’t quite old enough for adoption yet, but they’ll be ready before you know it. Others are already waiting to meet their furever families!

You can view many of our available kittens and cats on our website under Available Cats, but we encourage you to stop by the shelter as well. New kittens are arriving daily, and they’re coming in faster than we can get them listed online!

This important role helps keep our shelter running smoothly by answering phones, greeting visitors, and assisting members of the public who come to the shelter. If you enjoy helping people and making a difference for animals in need, we'd love to hear from you! Must be 21+.
