Dog PAWS - Salisbury Dog Parks and Walks in Salisbury [Dog PAWS] is a volunteer citizen group with a simple goal: we want Dog PAWS - P.O. Box 404 - Salisbury, NC 28145

In urban communities, these parks are a great amenity for our canine friends. This park will offer owners the opportunity to meet other residents as well as provide a great, safe place to bring their dogs for socialization and off leash exercise and training. The Salisbury Parks and Recreation Comprehensive Master Plan, approved in 2009, includes the creation of a Dog Park within our community. Wo

rking together with Parks and Recreation, we were able to develop a design and fundraising strategy that City Council unanimously approved in October of 2012.

Dog Walking Classes starting next Wednesday!

Let's make walking the dog fun again!

Join us for our Basic Dog Walk class ~ Wednesday evenings starting September 13th! Come to one class or the 4-week-series!! Your dog will learn basic walk skills, such as walking with other dogs, walking with distractions, and learning to read body language. And it's a great opportunity to socialize with other dogs!

The first class meets at Centennial Park in the Fulton Heights Neighborhood ~ a perfect walking area with a grid of tree-lined sidewalks!
