Welcome General!! He came to us a few weeks ago from one of our local Shelters as a stray. He had an eye injury and had to have it immediately removed. It was thought to be cancerous but after being sent off for cytology it came back as no cancer just severe tissue thinking due to a old traumatic puncture injury to his eye. ❤️

He is thought to be 2 years old give or take. He is fully vaccinated, heartworm negative, neutered, microchipped and oh so very sweet. His foster mom has been helping him with his recovery and started him on some training. She feels like he will make a absolutely wonderful family dog. Happy tails to our absolutely beautiful Great Dane girl Daisy she has found her forever home and will be going to work with her new dad. ❤️. Daisy was found dumped out at the I85 Rest Stop a while back and now doesn't ever have to worry again about being alone.

BEWARE of SCAMMERS someone is trying to scam on Petfinder using our Rescue name and their phone number for Dachshunds. (That is all we can find so far). We have been notified that they are requesting money up front. This is NOT us. Please never send money up front. And will never ask for money until you meet your dog. Or if you want to put a deposit down because you cannot take them immediately. This NOT our phone number and this is not our email. They are also using every dog we have as theirs with their information.

Welcome Lucy to the FHL Family. She has been with us for over a month now. She comes to us from one of the local Shelters as an Owner Surrender that was on her last day and was going to be euthanized. She is a 8 year old, 80 lb, absolute love muffin. She is spayed, fully vetted, microchipped, housebroken, crate trained and 100% dog friendly (any size) Lab Mix. You wouldn't even know she is around. Lucy loves to watch the squirrels every morning in the trees. She is not to interested in staying outside when it is hot and likes to just watch the world go by. She is a very easy dog. We are reintroducing Daisy. Since she has been with us several weeks we have come to know her and her personality.

She is 2 year old, Great Dane, sweet, loving, fun, almost puppy like. One on one she loves toys, loves to throw them up and pounce on them. She loves people. She is housebroken, crate trained, spayed, microchipped and fully vaccinated. Daisy weights 112 lbs. The issue we have found is that she does NOT like small, medium or female dogs. She plays excellent with the other Great Danes that are male. When a female is introduced is doesn't go so well. She had an absolutely awesome meet and greet yesterday and was amazing. They were tickled. Until.. we tried to introduce their 2 large docile females and it wasn't the outcome we were hoping for.

Daisy is almost puppy like when she plays and she loves her humans and large male dogs. She will need to be the only dog or only female dog in a larger dog household.

This may come from past trauma or just never being around small dogs or females. She was found dumped out at a Rest Stop on I85. Welcome Wall-ee and Asher to the FHL Family. They come to us sadly because their mom passed away. These dogs were her world. Wall-ee is a 16 year old Bishon Frise mix. He is in excellent shape, mind and body. He just is alittle slower and needs assistance sometimes on the steps. Asher is a 6 year old Bishon Frise. They are both neutered, fully vaccinated, heartworm negative and microchipped. Both are housebroken. Wall-ee per his long time Vet has some slight kidney elevations but nothing concerning. He eats KD Science Diet. They come with over 200 pages of Vet Records to show they are healthy and have been well taken care of.
