Tyler's wildlife We are a small family wildlife rescue. We want to do our part in preserving our wildlife in helping anyway we can.

Hi everyone it's been a while since we posted. I just wanted to update on what happened to Tyler's wildlife. First off I want to say thank you so much for everyone who supported us to help us help wildlife. It was a hard decision to stop rehabbing that had MANY factors one being Mass wildlife rejected my renewal for my license because I was missing my cover page?!... anyway... I was so happy that over just the last few short years we got to help the many helpless animals we did. I learned so much and was so proud to call myself a rehabber. People who do rescue have such special hearts and are always about the health and safety of the animals. With that being said they often times lose their "liking " for people. We made many friends in the rescue community but also for some reason made so many enemies who are also wildlife rehabbers. I'm still not sure why for all the dislike towards us but all I have to say is that we tried. We spent hundreds of hours helping babies and sick or injured wildlife many sleepless nights bottle feeding and stabilizing wildlife. And as reward we were treated horribly by some of the exact members of the community we were trying to help. There was many times a caller would frantically call needing help for a animal that we dropped everything put my toddler in his car seat and off we went to help assist in a rescue. Many times in the heat of the moment we didn't stop to think is this something our permit allowed. We unknowingly may have not followed all the black and white. We did it for the love of animals and nothing else. And with that being said we were ridiculed by many of our peers and are not liked in the wildlife community. I will not ever turn my back on helping wildlife however we are not allowed to take in any rescues. We are available for advice and we will always refer out to rehabbers who are able to help wildlife. Even though I am personally very hurt by many members of the wildlife rehabber community please continue to support them. They are not paid to do this; it's strictly volunteer with very little help by the state so they rely heavily on donations to save lives. Thank you so much everyone who supported and believed in us.
Please remember to be kind.

Please donate if you can. We really need the help. Hi everyone. I'm trying to get the word out about my cat Spirit. I am putting him on my wildlife page in hopes to spread the word. Spirit had to go back in the hospital today to have the whole procedure redone and we hopefully pick him up on Monday. Please donate and share if you can. We really could use some help. Thank you so much.

Hi everyone I am looking for some help my cat Spirit had a urinary block. We took care of the block with the help of many people. I picked him up today and the vet said it is possible he may block again as his bladder is full. I'm posting my go fund me and my venmo asking for help. As we think this can happen again and we are financially strapped right now. Please donate anything helps. I hate asking for help with things like this but we could really use some. Thank you.

Hi everyone we are still working on getting things up and running. The demand is at a all time high. I get anywhere from 3 to 6 rescue calls a day that i have to turn away. There are somethings that we could use to make sure the animals in our care have everything they need. I will attach our amazon wish list of some of the items. But we also don't mind having some of the items gently used. Those items can be fleece blankets baby blankets are amazing, towels, small bowls and a few other things. Please feel free to text me at 781 346 8388 or message me here. I would be happy to arrange pick ups for these items. One of the recommendations was that the animals in my care have more enrichment and I have included those items in the on our wish list. They are also available at pet stores as well. Anything helps. Thank you. (Picture of puppy Nyx for attention)

We are currently working on getting back up and running again. We are going to be taking in a smaller amount of rescues so we don't get overwhelmed. I will let you all know when we get the final approval and when we are back in action. One of the critiques was that the wildlife in my care needed more enrichment so I will put together a amazon wishlist with the necessary items. Thank you every one for hanging in there with us. We appreciate you all.

I told my team: If I don’t call you back in 15 minutes, call the cops…

I had just driven an hour and a half to pick up a bobcat kitten from a man who refused to send a photo of it. I couldn’t shake the feeling that something was off. What if there was no kitten? What if this was a setup?

When I pulled into the driveway, he was already outside, towering, stone-faced, and the kind of man you’d instinctively avoid crossing. He stood beside a small cage draped in a blanket. I cautiously stepped out of the car and walked toward him. His eyes locked onto mine, guarded and skeptical.

I nervously lifted the blanket.

There it was - a tiny, terrified bobcat kitten. Skinny. Malnourished. But alive.

“Promise me you won’t kill him,” he said, voice low but firm.

That’s what this was all about. This intimidating stranger wasn’t dangerous at all. He was afraid. He was trying to protect this innocent creature and was having trouble trusting a stranger not to just euthanize him. I wasn’t in danger - I was in good company.

All my fear dissolved. I finally saw this for what it was. I extended my hand and looked him straight in the eye.

“I promise,” I said. “He’s safe now. I’ll make sure he gets everything he needs.”

Once the kitten was tucked safely in my car, I made the most important call of the day, back to my team, so this kindhearted man wouldn’t be greeted by flashing lights and concerned police officers in five minutes. 😅

The kitten is about 10 weeks old—and his blood won’t clot. So young, and already suffering from rat poison exposure.

Yesterday, dozens of passionate wildlife advocates gathered at the Massachusetts State House to fight for animals just like him, lobbying to ban second-generation anticoagulant rodenticides (SGARs).

I wanted to be there too. But with our team short-staffed, I was needed here.

I was still fighting the same fight—just on a different front.

Because when wildlife rehabilitators aren’t standing at the State House begging lawmakers to stop this poison, we’re rescuing very sick animals and trying desperately to save them from it.
