πŸ΄πŸ’• Sweet Olga the mini horse had a farm call appointment with Dr. Schrader for a wellness exam and a blood test to help confirm pregnancy!
From the moment we arrived, Olga was an absolute delight. This little lady was so sweet, gentle, and well-mannered throughout her entire appointment. She handled her wellness exam like a pro and did an excellent job for her blood draw. Patients like Olga make farm calls extra enjoyable! 😊
One thing that definitely stole the show was her adorable ponytail. πŸ˜‚ Her hair was styled perfectly, and she looked absolutely precious. Between her cute little ponytail and her sweet personality, it's safe to say she had everyone wrapped around her hoof. We may have spent just as much time admiring her hairstyle as we did talking about her appointment!
Olga soaked up all the attention and plenty of well-deserved compliments. She was curious, calm, and happy to be doted on, making the visit a wonderful experience for everyone involved.
Now we're eagerly waiting for her pregnancy test results and hoping for exciting news! We are so proud of Olga for being such a great patient and can't wait to follow along on her journey.
Way to go, Olga! You were the cutest and sweetest patient of the day! ❀️🐴✨

πŸΎπŸ’™ Brave boy Finn πŸ’™πŸΎ

Today, sweet Finn came in to see us after being attacked by another dog. While he had two small wound areas that needed some extra attention, he handled everything like an absolute champ from start to finish. 🐢✨

Our team got Finn all cleaned up, comfortable, and patched back together with two staples to help his wound heal properly. Even though it was a stressful evening, Finn stayed incredibly brave and did amazing throughout his visit. We are so proud of how well he handled all of his care and all the love he received from the staff. πŸ’•

Dog bite injuries can sometimes look small on the surface but may cause deeper damage underneath the skin, which is why it’s always important to have pets examined after any altercation. Quick treatment helps reduce the risk of infection, pain, and further complications while helping our furry friends heal as comfortably as possible. 🩺

Finn is heading home with lots of love, some extra TLC, and hopefully plenty of well-deserved treats and naps. We’re wishing this handsome boy a smooth and speedy recovery! πŸΎπŸ’™

πŸΎπŸ’™ Sweet Sadie stopped by to see us after breaking one of her nails, and while it definitely wasn’t the most comfortable experience, she handled it like a champ! This happy-go-lucky Blue Heeler kept her tail wagging and her spirits high while Dr. Schrader got her all taken care of. 🩺✨

Even though Sadie wasn’t feeling her best, she still made everyone smile with her goofy personality and endless happiness. From all the extra love she gave our staff to her brave attitude during treatment, she reminded us all why we love seeing her so much! πŸΆπŸ’•

Broken nails may seem minor, but they can actually be very painful for our pets and can easily become infected if left untreated. Because nails contain sensitive tissue and blood vessels, even a small break can cause a lot of discomfort. That’s why it’s always important to have injured nails checked as soon as possible so your pet can heal comfortably and avoid further complications. 🐾

Dr. Schrader made sure Sadie was cleaned up and comfortable before heading home, and she was sent with medication to help manage the pain while she heals. Thankfully, with a little rest and care, she should be back to zooming around and living her best Blue Heeler life very soon! πŸ’™βœ¨

We have no doubt Sadie will continue being the crazy, energetic, tail-wagging girl that she is β€” just with a little extra pampering over the next few days! Thank you, Sadie, for being such a sweet and brave patient for us today! 🦴🐾

🦷🐾 Miss Fiona stopped by for a dental consultation and did such an amazing job during her visit! From her exam to all the extra attention she received from the staff, she was calm, sweet, and soaking up all the love along the way. πŸ’•

Dental health is such an important part of our pets’ overall wellness, even though it’s often something that can be easy to overlook. Just like in people, plaque and tartar buildup can lead to bad breath, painful infections, loose teeth, and even affect important organs like the heart, liver, and kidneys if left untreated. Regular dental exams and cleanings help keep pets comfortable, healthy, and feeling their best! 🦷✨

Many pets begin showing signs of dental disease earlier than owners realize, and by the age of 3, most dogs and cats already have some level of dental disease present. Some common signs to watch for at home include bad breath, drooling, difficulty chewing, pawing at the mouth, decreased interest in food, or red and irritated gums. Routine dental care, both at home and with professional cleanings, can make a huge difference in your pet’s comfort and quality of life. πŸͺ₯🐢🐱

Fiona was an absolute superstar for her consultation, and we loved getting to spend time with her while helping make a plan to keep her smile healthy and bright. She happily accepted all the pets, attention, and encouragement from the team and made everyone smile right back at her. πŸ’–

We are so proud of sweet Fiona for doing so well during her appointment, and we can’t wait to help keep that adorable smile sparkling for years to come! ✨🐾

🐴🦷 Hands-on learning with some very special helpers! 🦷🐴

Our technicians recently had the opportunity to do equine dental float training with Dr. Schrader using her wonderful horses, Tubby and Dusty! Both boys were absolute stars during the training and soaked up all the attention, hugs, and love from everyone involved. πŸ’™

Routine dental care is such an important part of keeping horses healthy and comfortable. Horses’ teeth continuously grow throughout their lives, which can lead to sharp points, uneven wear, and discomfort while eating or riding. Dental floating helps smooth those areas out and can improve chewing, comfort, and overall health. 🐎✨

Tubby and Dusty were patient, calm, and made the perfect teachers while our team practiced and learned more about proper equine dental care. We’re so thankful for opportunities like this that allow our staff to continue growing their skills and knowledge while giving plenty of extra scratches and cuddles along the way! 🀎🐴

πŸ“£ Friendly reminder: We are offering $30 OFF your first Equine Wellness Exam when booked during the month of May! Give us a call to get your horse scheduled and help keep them feeling their very best this season! 🌿🐎

🐐🐾 Baby animal cuddles made for a pretty sweet day around the clinic! 🐾🐱

Dr. Deneke got some extra snuggle time while bottle feeding an adorable baby goat, making sure the little one stayed full, warm, and growing strong. Bottle babies require frequent feedings, careful monitoring, and lots of patience, but they also bring plenty of personality and tiny tail wags along the way! πŸ’•πŸΌ

Meanwhile, Dr. Schrader spent part of her day helping little Miss Mocha during her spay procedure. Spaying is such an important part of keeping pets healthy β€” it helps prevent unwanted litters and can reduce the risk of certain infections and cancers later in life. Miss Mocha did wonderfully and soaked up plenty of love and attention from the team while she recovered. 🩺🐱

From bottle babies to brave surgery patients, days like these remind us just how special it is to care for animals of all shapes, sizes, and ages. πŸ’™

πŸΎπŸ’™ Gunner & Bella stopped by today for their ear rechecks, and these sweet siblings kept us smiling the whole visit! πŸ’™πŸΎ

Bella was calm, cool, and collected like a total pro, while Gunner made sure everyone knew he had very important opinions about having his ears checked. πŸ˜‚ Even with his extra dramatics, he still did an amazing job and soaked up all the love and attention from our team.

Even though ear rechecks aren’t always their favorite thing, both of them were so patient and cooperative throughout their visit. We always love getting to see these two together β€” they may handle appointments a little differently, but they’re both equally sweet, lovable, and full of personality! πŸΆπŸΆπŸ’•

Ear rechecks are important because they help us make sure infections are fully cleared up and that medications are working properly. Pets can sometimes continue to have irritation even after symptoms start improving, so follow-up visits help keep those ears healthy and comfortable! πŸ‘‚πŸΎ

These two definitely brought plenty of smiles and laughs to the clinic today! 🦴✨
