We had some left-over Tillamooks from Saturday’s picking and I decided to freeze them for myself, so I can make jam this winter.

Side note: they still look incredible for being picked on Saturday (these pictures taken on Tuesday)

So I decided to share my process for freezing. I have heard different strategies from our customers and I’ve tried a few different methods, but this works best for me.

Starting the week off with a new variety!

“The Marty’s”

The Marty’s are a new strawberry variety. They are large and firm. Light in color with a hollow center. Perfect for filling with chocolate, whipped cream, etc. 🤷🏻‍♀️

They are my personal favorite and I encourage you to try some today!
