The KHS Snip Clinic in Louisville still offers $30 spay/neuter surgeries for pit bull terriers (mixes included).

Piece Of My Heart Rescue offers spay/neuter vouchers to Washington County (Scott & Orange Co too) residents to assist with the following breeds/mixes:

*German Shepherd
* Husky
* Pit Bull
* Hound
* Livestock Guardian Dog

These breeds/mixes constantly fill all our local shelters.

👀 get those outside stray/feral/community cats fixed at Alley Cat Advocates for just $25! That includes vaccines, flea treatment, dewormer, and an ear-tip 🙌.

👉Book asap to avoid traffic delays starting in June.

🤝We loan traps for this (first come, first serve). Reserve them at least a week ahead of your appointment.

ℹ️ pregnant cats, nursing cats, and kittens 2lb (8ish weeks) and up can be fixed!

📣 Attention Indiana Community Cat Caretakers

A major closure of I-65 in the Louisville area is scheduled June 1 – August 1, along with additional construction and traffic disruptions throughout the region. These changes will likely mean longer travel times and heavier congestion on alternate routes like I-64 and I-264.

Why this matters:
With kitten season in full swing, delays can make it harder to get cats seen quickly and may impact already-limited appointment availability.

Please plan ahead:
If you’re an Indiana caretaker needing TNR or clinic visits this summer, we strongly encourage scheduling your appointments before June 1 to avoid disruptions.
