It is September 1st— where did Summer go? I can’t believe it went so fast. Here are some captured moments from the blur 💨😻💨😻 I’ve been getting ready for a busy Salem Fall season— the cat museum will remain open Thurs-Mon 11-6 and I will also be picking up a few outdoor market dates on Salem Common (9/19) and Derby Square (9/26, 10/3, 10/10, 10/17, 10/24 and 10/31) 😻🎉 See mew around!

Newest postcard design is now available online and at 🎉😻 This one is a catty version of everybody’s favorite Salem house that Hawthorne wrote a book about. I personally would like a house with more gatos than gables— how about you?
I’ve been meaning to pick up the postcard designing track again since two years ago, but I’ve been so distracted with all the other things that go into running the cat museum (turns out it’s an endless amount of things) 🤪😹 But my love for postcards is still strong! They are my preferred antiquated form of marketing— representing art & culture in the purrfect size. My grandma started me with a postcard collection when I was 7 and I still have it active after all these years! Will I get my act together and finish drawing my Mewnited States postcard series this year? Maybe not…. But know I’m meaning to someday 😻

Pictured: My ideal birthday party 🐈‍⬛🖤🎉 It’s my birthday today! I’ve made it to my elder years by being a grumpy contrarian — don’t expect that to change 😹😹 If you’re looking for someone to pay you lip service, you’re going to have to find another person 🤪😹 Good thing there’s all kinds of people out there! And not everyone dislikes grumpy contrarians, thank goodness 🙏🏻🙏🏻😻😻 Thanks to all that can keep it real with me— you know who you are 😻😻 And to those that can’t, I’m trying to be cool with you too— part of the whole getting older and wiser thing 🤪🤪 Thanks for being a part of it all 🙏🏻😻
