Meet Lynn Diettrich

The Diettrich Farm has been owned and opperated by Lynn Diettrich since 1987. Her Goal is to Provide an enviroment where people can grow in their relationships with horses. she creates a place where horses are valued and safe, thriving under her dedicated care. She has a strong Background in safety, with a Horsemanship Safety Association certificate.

Her approach to continual learning includes a Certificated Leave 1 with EAGLA ( Equine Assisted Growth and Learning Association), and many years learning with experts like Lee Smith, Tom Nagel, and the late John Harms. Whether you come here to board your horse, take lessons, attend a clinic, take part in summer camps or retreats, you can immerse yourself in a relationship with a horse. Lynn will help you find balance in the saddle, attune yourself to the horse's rhythm, or work on a technique, in disciplines including English, Western, Trail or pleasure. She'll help you to take a journey for children and adults at all skill levels, from beginning to advanced. She helps riders rise to their potential with a new awareness of horsemanship. Lessons for All Ages. All Disciplines

All classes emphasize safety. Horseback riding is more rewarding and fun when you achieve timing, feel and balance with your horse. Lynn's excellent education program will help build confidence in all horsemanship skills.

At our farm, horsemanship is about more than riding - it’s about learning responsibility, empathy, and partnership with animals. Participating in chores is an important part of that experience!

Chores aren’t a punishment, they are a part of learning what it truly means to be a horse person.

Ever wonder why horses love a good roll? It’s more than just a funny moment in the dirt!

Rolling helps horses in many different ways:

1. It helps them cool off after being bathed, doing groundwork, or going for a ride. The cool dirt helps quickly lower their body temperature back to normal.
2. It helps them scratch those hard-to-reach spots and shed loose hair, dirt, and dead skin!
3. In the warmer months, a layer of mud and dirt acts as a barrier against flies and other insects!

Take a look at these videos of our herd enjoying some well deserved rolling time!

THE GREAT ESCAPE

Step away from the noise and demands of everyday life and into the wide-open beauty of Colorado. Join Lynn for a women’s getaway to the historic C Lazy U Ranch, where breathtaking mountain views, rich western tradition, and meaningful connections with horses create space for true reflection and growth.

This experience is designed to nourish your mind, body, and soul through presence, intention, and the powerful bond between horse and human. Our hope is that you will return home feeling grounded, renewed, and deeply changed!

Monday mention!

Meet miss Landrie Hess and Bronx.

Landrie has been a part of Diettrich Farm for about 3 years and Bronx joined us shortly after. Landrie has been teaching children lessons along with counseling summer camps! Her favorite part about her role is being able to see the kids and horses connect in special ways.

Bronx is her 13-year-old palomino quarter horse who comes from Missouri! He is a gelding who loves ponies, morning naps, and has a child-like spirit. Bronx really likes to lead the group in activities and be at the front of the line!
