There’s always someone on the farm who has the job of locking the chickens in for the night—and with that comes a little taste of true farm life after dark. 🌙🐓
Tonight, with a Nor’easter blowing through, the wind is howling, the rain is coming down, and the woods are filled with strange and sometimes scary sounds. The animals are bright-eyed and hunkered down, cozy and protected from the storm.
The garden is still somehow full of life, while little beady eyes seem to appear along the woodline, reminding you that you’re never quite alone out there. It definitely keeps you on your toes as you make your way around the farm, checking that everyone is safe, warm, and locked in for the night.
And soon, with Halloween just around the corner, you can’t help but imagine that a few ghouls and goblins might be shifting around right beside you as you walk through the dark farmyard, finishing the nightly rounds. 🎃👻
Just another night on the farm—wild, beautiful, a little spooky, and full of life. ❤️🌧️🐓
